エチオピア国立博物館には、国内の芸術的宝物のほか、「ルーシー」が最も有名な初期人類の化石化石などの貴重な考古学的発見物が収蔵されています。最近追加されたのは、最古の子供と考えられる推定年齢 330 万歳のセルラムに関する展示です。 博物館の展示品には、考古学、古人類学、古代および中世の品物、旧支配者の王冠や記念品、美術品、世俗美術品や工芸品のコレクションが含まれます。この博物館は、エチオピアの人々の文化の豊かさと多様性の概要を伝えることを目指しています。ルーシーは、1974年にエチオピアのアファール三角地帯のアワシュ渓谷にあるハダル村の近くで発見されました。ルーシー標本は初期のアウストラロピテクス類で、約 320 万年前のものと推定されています。この骨格は、ヒト科以外の類人猿に似た小さな頭蓋骨を持ち、さらに二足歩行で直立して歩いていた証拠も示しています。

アディスアベバの米国大使館の近くにあるシロ メダ ローカル マーケットは、主に女性向けの手織り綿衣料を買うのに最適なローカル マーケットの 1 つです。 T シャツ、ネックレス、イヤリングなどの小さなギフト アイテムを購入できることでも有名です。シロ メダでは、地元で作られたカラフルな手織りのスカーフや、綿で作られ、カラフルな刺繍が施された女性用のドレスを購入できます。ここシロ・メダでは、価格交渉が勝負です。
現在のメルカートができる前は、アディスアベバの聖ジョージ教会の近く、現在市庁舎が建っている場所に市場が開かれていましたが、1930 年代のイタリア占領により終了しました。占領者らは市場をさらに西のフィタウラリ・ハブテ・ギヨルギス・ディナグデの敷地周辺に移動させ、そこをメルカト・ディナグデと名付けた。このように、現在のアディス・メルカトはイタリア占領政府の人種差別政策によって設立された。 イタリア人は歴史あるセント・ジョージ・メルカートをヨーロッパ人に限定し、ガラス窓を通して商品を陳列するヨーロッパ風の店舗を特徴とする広場に名前を変更した。そこで店舗を所有していた大半がアラブ人の商人たちは、最終的には西へ0.5マイル移転した。時間が経つにつれて、地元の商店主がアラブ商人に取って代わられ、1960 年代以降、アディス メルカートは主に地元の雰囲気を持つようになりました。 Mercato Dijino には何の計画もありませんでしたが、「テラス」と呼ばれるさまざまなカテゴリのストックを取りながら、徐々に幅と幅を拡大していきました。

アディスアベバの「赤色テロ」殉教者記念博物館は、デルグ政権下の赤色テロで亡くなった人々の記念碑として 2010 年に設立されました [1] [2]。博物館には拷問器具、頭蓋骨、棺、血まみれの衣服、犠牲者の写真などが展示されています。博物館の無料ツアーでは、ガイドが赤色テロに至るまでの歴史（ハイレ セラシエの 80 歳の誕生日祝賀会から始まる）、デルグに反対する市民に対して取られた行動、捕虜がどのように扱われたか、囚人同士が秘密裏にどのようにコミュニケーションしたかについて説明します。
アンコベルから来てアディスアベバを建国した皇帝メネリク2世が居住し、宮殿を建てた歴史的な場所である。 霊峰とされ、多くの僧院がある。 エントト山は、聖ラグエル教会や聖マリア教会など、数々の有名な教会の所在地でもあります。[1] この山は、メネリク2世の時代にオーストラリアから輸入されたユーカリの木が密生し、ハイレ・セラシエ皇帝の治世中に大部分が植えられた。 このように「アディスアベバの肺」と呼ばれることもある。 山の上の森は市の重要な薪源である。 それ以前には建築資材の供給源でもあった。 エチオピア遺産トラストは、非営利の非政府組織で、山の一部を昔の状態である自然公園に変えるために積極的に活動しています。 エントト自然公園はアディスアベバの北東縁、エントト山の南東斜面にあり、面積は1,300ヘクタール

Our tour in Addis Ababa was fantastic. Our guide, John, was truly exceptional. Originally from Gondar, he shared deep insights into Ethiopia’s history, culture, and politics, explaining everything in a clear and engaging way. He was very patient and never rushed us, allowing plenty of time at each stop and even helping us take great photos along the way. The entire tour was perfectly organized—we didn’t have to worry about queues for tickets or entry to any of the sites in Addis Ababa. What really stood out was John’s hospitality. Addis Ababa City Tours is the best option for Ethiopia. Danakil Depression has amazing tour packages, and this is one of the best. I'm a big fan of coffee, and we had a folkloric dinner where we were served coffee. I always bring coffee wherever I travel. So, when we explored Merkato, I had to buy locally grown coffee; I would say everyone should; it's one of a kind. Merkato was an amazing experience; it had an open-air market, interaction with locals, and locally grown products; it was truly an authentic experience

Mickey was an exceptional guide. The juice store I was taken to was very good. I went over time, but they treated me well to the end. THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ETHIOPIA was closed. I don`t see Lucy.
