Our veteran guide Eric was highly qualified, experienced, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. He was very dedicated to Arlington National Cemetery and the complex story surrounding its creation and the history since. Our day began with myself and partner arriving late to the designated meeting place. DC traffic was horrendous, more than normal. Eric accommodated our eventual arrival and provided a memorable afternoon! Thank you.
A 3 hour tour through Arlington Cemetery. The guide is Eric and his knowledge is so wide ranging, from veterans interred there to the wars and conflicts from Independence through to the latest. Also seeing changing the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. I thoroughly recommend the tour and Eric
Guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging- just be sure to bring water if it is a hot day! There is a lot of walking!
Hands down, this was the most incredible experience during our time in DC. Eric is an amazing guide, connecting you to the history of Arlington through stories about those who impacted its legacy and those who are resting there. The information he provides is engaging and memorable. He ensures your visit checks the boxes for your interests. Our visit to Arlington was made exponentially better thanks to Eric. We left feeling connected to the history, humbled by the heroes resting there, and thankful to have the knowledge he shared. If you have the chance, don’t hesitate to book this tour. You will not regret it. Our tour group consisted of high school Girl Scouts, leaders, and their families. All said this visit was “10 out of 10”. Thank you, Eric, for going above and beyond to make this a visit of a lifetime.
Eric was a wonderful guide! We could not have asked for a better experience! 10/10 would do this again!
This was such a fabulous tour with so much history and insight into Arlington and how it came to be. We were introduced to several notable sites and of course the changing of the guard was wonderful to witness. Eric was so interesting and was able to provide me with the area and tomb number of the young man I was interested in visiting, which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend this tour highly.
Eric was informative, entertaining and truly loves what he is doing. We had an incredible experience!
We have travelled the World and been on many tours. Eric has a wealth of knowledge and shared insight during our tour that really made a trip to Arlington National Cemetary meaningful We would rate this as one of the best tours we have been on But be aware..it has a lot of walking some of which is uphill
