Very nice long tour. In our case, we started at the pier below the bus station and that is also where the tour ended.

Cute experience.
Cute canal tour. Audio over speaker system - guide on boat was friendly though and pointed out some other buildings/information. Can get a bit cold so depending on weather, make sure you wear something warm.

Riga River Cruise
Wonderful way to view Riga! Tranquil break from the hustle & bustle of the old town. Captain very knowledgeable so ask questions!

OK experience - smooth journey to nowhere
There was no commentary on the boat so nothing got pointed out. Was not much to see after 15 minutes heading out of the city. Drinks and snacks were expensive and there was no direction on how to leave when docked at the end of the trip. Boat is quite tired and could do with a re- vamp

A very good boat tour
This was a surprisingly good tour on the canal for 1/2 hour then into the open river for the second 1/2 hour so getting all the best views. Probably better than just a n hour river only cruise.

A simple amd good your of the old canal bi water. Not the most thorough but still well worth the price.

Relaxing and a great way to see the city. Gave a great overview and layout if the coty so would be a good first day introduction.

Lovely summary of Riga
The only downside to this canal boat is that it is further down the canal to their dock, but otherwise the trip was wonderful. The boat is comfortable and shaded, it left timely and it takes you much further than I imagined. It seemed like it was going slowly, but it methodically made it past every point of interest on the water and back to the point of origin. It was a bargain.
