we had a wonderful experience even though the day started off rainy .they were very flexible to move it to the afternoon our tour. Our tour guy was very knowledgeable about the area. I was so glad that we were able to still experience our adventure.

It was a highlight of the day. The boat tour was very well organized and prepared. The two tour guides were very friendly and explained a lot to us. Their respect and high regard for nature, wildlife, and flora were evident at all times. They led us safely and enthusiastically through wonderful landscapes and made the day unforgettable.

The Tour was awesome. Our Tour guide Jason had a lot of useable knowledge about flora and fauna and it was an absolute delight to listen to his stories. The zodiac tour is a must do while visiting this area.

Fabulous morning on the water, with a terrific guide (Deborah). Knowledgable, personable, funny, and she knows these waters well. Memorable.

What a great way to really experience the south shore of Nova Scotia. The animals cooperated and showed up to great us. The shoals are amazingly complicated and dangerous, but our guide Jason seemed to know the way around them effortlessly. Being close to the water and the land is so special.

Beautiful boat ride to see and learn about the geology and flora and fauna of the area. Guides were informative and fun and friendly.

Our group of five ladies booked the Zodiac tour for our afternoon in Lunenberg and really appreciated Jason's heads-up several days in advance that rain was likely and that the Zodiac tour was likely to be cancelled. So instead, we replaced it with the Hidden Gems van tour and rescheduled the Zodiac tour for the next morning. Both tours were excellent and highly recommended! On the Zodiac tour, we enjoyed a totally different view of the area from the water. Jason (and his wife and partner Deb on another Zodiac) pointed out harbour seals, Atlantic grey seals, bald eagles, cormorants, and gulls (we learned there is no such thing as a "sea gull"). Did you know that dog whelks can eat periwinkles by injecting digestive enzymes through their shells? And that you can whistle through a periwinkle shell? We also got a geological lesson about glacial bowling balls and that there are more types of lichen in the area than wildlife (by a factor of hundreds). All in all, a really wonderful outing. P.S. Jason and Deb are committed naturalists that live a committed life. Their property is amazing as well as the hospitality. Learned a great deal about the south shore ecosystem and geologic history. They wanted us to see everything so easily went a half hour over. Just nice people. They also do tours in Antarctica in the winter…

Great afternoon out on the water with Jason. Zodiacs are a fab way to see closer up to the islands etc comfy ride and we barely got wet! Saw loads of seals, couple of eagles and other birds but no whales - which was a shame but you can’t just call them up!! Would thoroughly recommend!

Jason and his team do a great job of guiding you through some beautiful waterways and islands, providing information on the nature that inhabits the area as well as the flora, fauna and geology. We saw lots of birdlife as well as many seals. It was a really nice way to spend an afternoon on the water.
