This tour of Uptown Charlotte was amazing! Naomi deserves more recognition. She is top tier and knows OUR BLACK HISTORY. My wife had a great time learning and with this being my second time doing the tour, I learned some new things. Great Tour.

Thank you so much for your support. It was an absolute pleasure to tour with you all. And it was quite a treat for your wife to flip my questions onto me and to share in her birthday celebration. Please too tell her I sincerely and truly appreciate her wonderful google review, although it’s currently not allowing me to respond to the review with anything besides a heart because of verification issues I wholeheartedly appreciated it. Nevertheless, Let’s all continue to support each other. Sincerest gratitude.

Historical walk of Charlotte the queen and the early blacks life
Nubian puts effort into what she does ……
She is above average
It was going longish , I’m sure she can be funnier , maybe the old couple could not liven it up
Maybe some if us could be asking funnier questions
It is a 1 ½ hour walk could be a little more
One special mention , Nubian is a Good Samaritan and a good person , she was raking the leaves , a good gesture to keep the area where we started from, nice and tidy
Wish her luck and more walks

Fantastic Tour!
This is a fantastic tour! Naomi is an incredible guide who is quite knowledgeable about not only Charlotte's Black history, but national and international history as well! She weaved everything together and made the tour easy to understand and interesting. I also liked how she intentionally introduces you to Black shops in the area. For example, I got a bit thirsty along the walk so we stopped at Lottie's Cafe for one of its specialty drinks. The place was gorgeous & the drink was refreshing! I highly recommend this tour for visitors as well as for those who live in Charlotte! Also, wear comfortable shoes. My phone showed that I took 5990 steps on this tour! It was so worth it!

I, too, truly value the history you shared with me about your family as it aids in connecting the dots of our history in a way that only real life stories told from the source can do. Thank you again for your support.

The tour guide was...
The tour guide was knowledgeable, sweet, and approachable. I enjoyed the tour and learning more about our culture.
At times, it was hard to hear her due her talking forward. Her voice was soft so there were moments I couldn't hear at all while walking.
Overall a great tour.
