Rising high above the clouds on the cable car to the peak offered stunning, sweeping panoramic views of the Greater Caucasus. Nestled in lush greenery, Yeddi Gozel Waterfall - multi-tiered cascade - was a spectacular natural reward. The soothing sound of rushing water and the scenic forest trail made for a magical photo stop. What truly elevated this journey from a great trip to an extraordinary one was our exceptional crew. Narmina is a gems of a guide—warm, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought every location to life with captivating stories, local insights, and effortless charisma. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for throughout the entire journey. Kamandar provided a flawless driving experience. Navigating winding mountain roads requires skill and confidence, and his exceptionally smooth, safe, and comfortable driving allowed us to sit back, relax, and fully immerse ourselves in the landscapes. I had the opportunity to explore the beauty and culture of Azerbaijan on a private full-day tour that highlighted four regions. This journey showcased the iconic landmarks and experiences of Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Gabala, and Sheki, all within a 12-hour timeframe. Our driver and tour guide, Rafeeqa, was highly professional, accommodating, and reliable throughout the tour. We began our journey by visiting the historic and stunning architecture of the Jummah Mosque, which holds local significance. Cross a nerve-wracking hanging bridge in Ismayilli for a short sightseeing walk and take in the stunning mountain views. Enjoy a relaxing local lunch in Gabala, surrounded by the beautiful natural scenery and the picturesque Nohur Lake. One of the highlights of our trip was exploring the magnificent 18th-century Palace of Shaki Khans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that truly showcases the brilliance of Azerbaijani architecture. We also had the opportunity to stroll through the historic Karvansaray, where we captured some memorable photographs. Lastly, we visited Kish Village, travelling in a charming vintage car as we navigated the narrow roads, alleys, and cobblestone streets. Within the village, we discovered the ancient Church of Kish, a historic Caucasian Albanian temple. The trip and experience were truly remarkable, and I would highly recommend the tour with Baku Heritage Travel if given the opportunity.

The customer representative is attentive and replies immediately. I managed to book my tour in less than an hour. They advise on the itinerary schedules and ticket/admission pricing for the locations beforehand.
