The trip was good and it is a long road but Narmina our tour guide made it very great with her joy and passion about history and her country ! Sheki and it’s surroundings are very different from Baku and worth it !

This long tour is absolutely worth taking with Baku Heritage tours. Our guide Shahid was kind, attentive and gave us a lot of information about the places as well as the country. The sheiki palace is beautiful and worth the long ride. He took us to a little workshop on the premises where the craftman make the glass pieces without glue or nuts. We also had a musician play a little local azheri tune on an instrument. Lunch was at a fancy restaurant with no other options nearby. Ismaili suspension bridge was fun and very safe. We had asked for pick up and drop while booking so they ensured they booked a taxi for us. Do book directly with the operator Baku Heritage Tours who have an office on Nizami street cheaper than booking online. They don't take credit cards which is a minus point .Everything that was mentioned on the tour was shown to us. It finishes late so make sure you have dinner plans in place. We had reviewed a lot for the same tour as its a long trip and were glad we booked with Baku Heritage tours.
