ソウェトの半日ウォーキング ツアー

My tour was by Nkuli tours. This was a wonderful tour by the tour operator's wife Lucky. Unfortunately I misjudged the traffic in Johannesburg and was late for the start of the group tour. I phone the operator and he organised his wife Lucky to meet me and help me rejoin the tour. Lucky decided that I had missed too much of the tour and instead took me on the tour which was fantastic. I thoroughly recommend thos tour to understand how ordinary people in South Africa live. Portable toilets, one tap between a thousand people make a stark contrast to the opulence in places like Capetown

Katleho and Thabiso were very pleasant and the tour was very interesting. Their good humor and the fact that they are from the neighborhood is an additional asset. I recommend it.

This tour is well designed and gives a multifaceted insight into the different parts of Soweto. Thabiso is a knowledgeable and devoted guide, a native from the neighbourghood. The description of the activity should be edited, though. There was no visit to brewery or tasting of Soweto beer, as promised. The explanation to this was that the place has closed (?). Also no snack was included contrary to the description. And the tour was only two hours instead of five. I'm still glad I went on this tour and not on a tourist bus. In the end, we went to have a beer in bar and had a nice chat.

Must have experience. The walking tour in Soweto is amazing. The guide was very experienced and he didn't stop explaining the history of the area and many other tips about Johannesburg

The tour was really informative and allowed us to get a deep insight into the neighborhood, including both the challenges and all the great work being done to address them. I can definitely recommend it!

We took the tour with Nkuli through Soweto. It was an incredible experience, learning a bit about the history and life of Soweto. One great thing is that Nkuli shares a lot of knowledge and is super attentive. The highlight of the tour was visiting the social project with children from the community; their energy and joy are contagious. I highly recommend this tour and the guide Nkuli.

Nkuli was an amazing tour guide for our trip with Sotravel, full of knowledge and also friendly & accommodating. It was an eye-opening experience for sure and we definitely enjoyed the cultural aspects of Soweto.
