This tour is great value, with great food and a great guide. Thanh picked us up from our hotel and we drove to the first eating place. We then walked around 2km in total over three hours, visiting six places. It was very doable. We already had reasonable experience with Vietnamese dishes, but Thanh introduced us to many more great ones that we wouldn't have known to have, all at places that we wouldn't have known to go to. While on the tour we had lots of great discussions with Thanh about the food, Vietnam, Australia, and life in general. She is lovely, and speaks English extremely well! The tour cost us $50 each, including the pick up. It is money very well spent, all at less than the cost of a pub meal in Perth. Thanks Thanh, we had a great time!

It is low season, so my wife and I were the only people on the tour. We are both somewhat experienced with Vietnamese food, but this tour introduced us to many great dishes that we would not have known to order, and to six great places that we wouldn't have known to go to. Thanh is a great guide. She speaks English extremely well - perhaps better than some locals at home! We had many conversations about the food, Vietnam, Australia, and life in general. All while eating lots and lots of great food. The tour came to $50 AUD each, including the pick up; around the cost of a pub meal in Perth. The locations were all close to the perimeter of the Imperial City. Thanks Thanh for a very memorable tour, and a great night out!!

We did this tour and I cant recommend enough. Hue is famous for its cuisine and so we booked this tour to get to know some of the dishes and tastes. Our guide Thanh was absolutely brilliant, she had picked 6 different food places, all off the beaten track and we got to eat some delicious food thst we would never have experienced without her. And she was so knowledgeable and proud of Hue's cuisine. All done with a smile and with pure enthusiasm and passion. Thanks Thanh.

This tour with Beem was a success, I arrived in Hue in the afternoon and this tour allowed me to not only discover exquisite Vietnamese dishes but the city center at night. Beem is a great guide that explains not only the dishes but also traditions and customs of Vietnamese culture. It was a luxury to be able to go with her to restaurants where you only see local people and that otherwise I could never have been lucky enough to discover. Doing this tour with Beem was not only a great culinary experience, but it was a lot of fun, Beem is a charm and perfectly combines the gastronomic tour with having a good time. In addition, Beem was available even though I took the tour a few hours in advance. I can only recommend it, doing this tour was one of the best activities I have done while in Vietnam.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Hue. Bem is a fantastic guide who feels more like a knowledgeable friend. She introduced us to multi-generational kitchens—places with 50+ years of history—that we never would have found on our own. Beyond the incredible food, her kindness stood out; she was so attentive to our safety and dietary needs. We walked away with full bellies and a deep appreciation for Hue’s food culture. Highly, highly recommended!

It was a pleasant night walking around the heart of Hue’s street food joints. Our tour guide, Bem, was the “architect” of our food adventure. Although there were only two of us, it felt like a full group tour — and it was excellent! The small size made it even more personal, and Bem was truly the one who made it amazing. She was so knowledgeable about both the food and the city, introducing us to authentic local flavors while sharing fascinating culture and history. Begin with a flavor and tasty "Salt Coffee" the unique part of Hue' local culture. Hue people create it by using their locally produced salt turning a simple ingredient into a famous name drink for the city. After enjoying salty coffee we continued our stroll to try a combo of Hue specialties such as banh beo-banh nam-banh bot loc and more. We also learned how each of them to pairs with different type of fish sauce." then next to next another food joints. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Hue, and we will definitely come back again in the future!

So much laughter and fun, Bem meet us on time at the hotel, we were immediately out on the streets and alley ways of Hue. We dinesd like locals sitting on the street or in the restaurant sampling a local specialty.. we heard not only stories of Vietnam but the dishes and what made them special. As a local Bem knower the shop owners. At the coffee shop where salt coffee was invented. She was greeted with smiles and a hug because she had been out of town for a while. The visit to the coffee shop would have been worth the price of admission the salt coffee was absolutely delicious and I had the Vietnamese coffee over ice Which I loved! Don’t miss the crab soup oh my goodness that was delicious! At the end of our tour, Bem walked us a good ways out of her way to get us to the meeting point for our dragon boat! What a wonderful experience, at the end, we felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend!

Hu was a wonderful guide and the local Hue street food experience quite different to other areas and super delicious. Lots of authentic variety lovely!
