If you want to see Pompeii and be picked up in an air conditioned car ( Antonio the driver was amazing and so knowledgeable) and then handed over to your tour guide ( so no hassle with trying to work out meeting points etc ) . Daniel was amazing , he is an archeologist and it showed through with his enthusiasm and knowledge. The day was finished off by Antonio meeting us and driving us back to our hotel, again pointing out landmarks etc on the way. Perfect and so relaxed.

Perfect way to see Pompeii
Excellent tour from beginning to end. Antonio picked us up from our hotel in an air conditioned Mercedes. He was so knowledgable and helped us with knowledge of Pompeii but also the other towns from Sorrento on the way to Pompeii. He confirmed the pick up time the day before on what’s app and as we were making good progress to Pompeii allowed us time to stop and take photos at the most beautiful church. Daniel was the best tour guide - he is an archaeologist and had an amazing knowledge of the ruins. He allowed us to get water and have a toilet break at the start and end of the tour ( which in 32 degree heat was needed). I can highly recommend this tour . Antonio then picked us up and took us back to the hotel but also , as we asked, gave us a recommendation for a local pizza place for a late lunch which was perfect. Would definitely use Aiana Travel again

this says 4 hour tour. ...
this says 4 hour tour. but we had 1 hour 20 minutes inside the crowded park. we needed to wait for tickets to be picked up, wait for a wheel chair to be obtained, wait for earphones to be acquired and then wait in a considerable line to enter even though this is a skip the line tour. and the crowds we big that we had to wait outside rooms before we could enter, allowing crowds to exit to free up space. pompeii is a large area, we were only able to see a handful of rooms (skipped the brothel and have no time for the museum, saw one mural and one plaster cast due to the logistics and crowds. the tour gives one a general overview but the guide spent a lot of time herding the group and we were slowed by a wheel chair bound person (shouldn’t have been allowed to join imo. also they only have an adult price and children are let in at reduced ticket prices, so one might want to consider a different tour if children are involved. you get a general brief look at pompeii with this tour nothing more

Great tour
We had a great air conditioned car and knowledgeable driver to Pompeii and an enthusiastic tour guide with loads of knowledge who led us around the excavations. Great tour, would highly recommend.

Pompeii Guided Tour

Expensive but worth it
A lovely tour with an experienced guide who made the most of the time we had at Pompeii. The pickup and drop off from the cruise port was very smooth, and we had a great journey in air conditioned luxury with our drivers Edoardo and Paulo.

Amazing!!
My visit to the Pompeii Archaeological Park was nothing short of incredible. From the moment the tour began, I was completely immersed in the history and atmosphere of this ancient city. Walking through the remarkably preserved streets felt like stepping back in time, and every corner revealed something fascinating—from detailed frescoes to the haunting plaster casts.
Our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about bringing Pompeii’s story to life. They shared insights I never would have discovered on my own, connecting the ruins to the daily lives of the people who once lived there.
The scale of the excavations is truly impressive, and the preservation is beyond what I expected. It’s one of those rare places that lives up to the hype and then exceeds it.
If you’re anywhere near Naples, this is an absolute must-see. I’d give this experience more than five stars if I could!

Pompeii a must do
We went on the tour with Paolo… he was amazing and knowledgeable. Great sense of humor and we learned so much about Pompeii. We booked through Alina agency via sister and had hotel pickup and drop off. We had the driver Michele …. He was very friendly and accommodating … gave good history and made our drive fun

Very welcoming and efficient
A week before our trip I received personal communication from Irene both over email and WhatsApp to make sure we were good for our tour. I was able to message her as needed throughout the day.
The busses were air conditioned and all the stops were efficiently timed. No problems or issues with our excursion from the Cruise port.
