Our tour with Blair of Bonnie Scotland Tours was incredible! Blair arrived with water and premium Scottish snacks for our road trip. He confirmed our priorities for the day and off we went in a nice, comfortable roomy van. Blair is a wonderful host. He’s knowledgeable about history but shares it in an interesting, relevant way. He added in some surprises (won’t tell them all) but there were some Outlander locations once he found out we were fans. He adapted the itinerary and gave us great tips on where to spend more or less time based on our interests and the weather. He hooked us up with a great lunch spot and made sure we were comfortable with the setup while he researched conditions for the rest of the day. We discovered that Bonnie Scotland arranged bespoke tours, there’s no “one tour”. When we go back for more days in the Highlands, they’ll be our first call. Spending the day with Blair was truly a highlight for our group of four adults. Can’t recommend Blair and the company enough.

We had a fantastic tour with Blair. From the first moment my family and I met Blair, we knew it was going to be a fun tour. He was on time and dressed in Scottish-style clothing. We have never met a tour guide who was this proud and so excited to show us his home country. Blair provided us with a huge snack trunk and drinks ... yes, this came in handy as we munched all day in the vehicle. We never felt pressured or rushed during the tour. He paid close attention to detail when it came to things we wanted to go see. We did not have to repeat anything twice. Honestly, it did not feel like a tour; it felt like visiting a friend's home country. I can't name other tours this chill, and it turned out to be the most fantastic memory of our trip. Long day but worth every minute. Blair was filled with great facts. He took us to some hidden gems in Glencoe and around various Lochs. We had a great meal at the Clachaig Inn. The drive to the highlands was epic and worth the cost of having a driver who knew how to navigate the narrow roads. Do this one!

We had a wonderful day touring The Highlands with our guide Robbie. Robbie was not only very knowledge and informative but was also an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. The van was super comfortable and was loaded with lots of snacks. The Highlands were beautiful and were well worth the visit. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic tour of the Scottish Highlands and our guide Donald made the experience truly unforgettable. Donald was very knowledgeable about the local history and shared many fascinating stories along the way. The private tour was especially wonderful because it felt relaxed rather than rushed. We booked the one-day Highlands and Loch Ness tour for a family of 8, and it was incredible! Noel was super helpful with booking and adjusting everything to our preferences. Donald, our tour driver, was brilliant—extremely knowledgeable, funny, and captivating to listen to. He made sure to show us some of the best spots in Scotland. Our family had a wonderful ALL day (12.5 hours) tour with Donald from Bonnie Scotland Tours. We were in Greenock on a cruise ship and arranged to modify one of their existing tours to fit our needs. We wanted to see more of the West Highlands. From the beginning the company was very precise and detailed in their information - giving a specific written itinerary that we were able to review. The pickup at the cruise port went very smoothly and we started our day. Donald was very personable as well as informative and took the time to get to know us while providing information, answering questions, telling stories as we went. 12.5 hours is a long time to spend together - but he made it interesting and enjoyable. Because it was a bespoke and private tour - we were able to make modifications as the day went on. If we wanted to spend a bit more time in one place we could choose to do that. We wanted to stop for lunch (there were snacks and water provided) and the location that was chosen was a great experience (and food) that was just a part of the day. I would highly recommend Bonnie Scotland Tours for any type of tour you are interested in - they are flexible, knowledgeable and can help you plan the type of day you want.
