Its good for kids and adults, it shows the process in a clear way. My 4 yo son loved it and we talked about it more later as I took photos.

Fascinating to see the process involved in getting such a beautiful product. Our guide was very informative and not pushing any products onto us.

I'm not quite sure why this tour has such a high rating but it's just another tourist trap. There are 3 small rooms in a 40m radius with cranky women weaving on demand. We booked a private tour but there was a walk in couple and they were added to our group for their own convenience. We were not offered a welcome drink upon arrival so once we finishing the tour my kids accepted the drinks at a table but when a group of Caucasian men came my kids were asked to stand up and forfeit their seats. If you need to kill 40 mins then it's not so bad but otherwise this is not a must.

The silk-making experience in Hoi An Silk Village was great! Friendly staff, hands-on activities, and a wonderful way to learn about traditional Vietnamese silk. Highly recommended!

Really interesting couple of hours for those that know nothing about silk and its production. Our guide was well spoken in English and certainly knew her stuff.

Very interesting is the history of silk cultivation and weaving. You can see the different types of chassis used over the nni and their evolution. SHOP with the possibility of purchasing silk artifacts.
