It's a good deal to get movement and a fortress on the same day.
There was a lack of communication between the tour operator and the driver regarding options that go through ancient fortresses and receiving bottled water. However, they responded quickly, and the driver was a kind and personable person who stopped at a lake that wasn't planned and showed consideration.

Very comfortable van and...
Very comfortable van and a problem-free trip; the only note is that we were told we would see three fortresses, but they took us to see only one, which was different from those listed.

Easy commute
Good and safe experience. We had 5 adults and 2 kids under 6 so I thought it would be a nightmare, but it went very smoothly and the time actually flew by. Not incredibly scenic, but good options of limited options to travel from Bukhara to Khiva

I booked transfer from...
I booked transfer from Bukhara to Khiva including fortress detour. The car was top notch, early on time. Driver definitely knows his ways and every hole in the road. Fortress however rather disappointing, surely not worth $20 extra. Crossing Amu-Daria was an experience to remember!

Great experience
It was a long driving however our driver Rustam was very attentive. We did not feel boring during this long journey.

Very good driver
We visit uzbekistan from China.The driver is very nice , he got some cotton from the farmland for us, and shared naan with us. Our car is new and cool . He drove fast and smooth.

Terrible experience
Driver didn’t speak a single word of English and he was rude. He didn’t stop (or just passed nearby) the Ancient Fortresses which were included in the Tour. He got lost and didn’t have a clue where our destination hotel was. He didn’t know how to use Google maps which I kindly offered to him. But the driver is not the only one to blame: how can an agency assign a group of foreign tourists to a driver that doesn’t speak even a few words of basic english? And doesn’t know the area? We even showed him pics from the book and he evidentely did not know even the existence of the Fortresses. Really really bad !

1. Driver’s language – Nowhere in our offer do we guarantee an English-speaking driver. Our service includes safe and reliable transfer, but communication in English is not part of the package.
2. Visit to the fortresses – During your transfer, our driver offered the option to visit the fortresses. You decided to skip this, which is understandable, but please note that visiting the fortresses requires extra payment as this is not included in a standard transfer.
3. Hotel location – Your destination hotel was located 20 km outside of Khiva. The transfer you booked was for Khiva, so naturally the driver was not familiar with accommodation that is far from the city. This was a booking choice on your side.
4. Communication during the trip – At no point during or immediately after the transfer did you contact our agency to inform us of any dissatisfaction. If you had reached out, we would have assisted right away to ensure your comfort.
We always aim to provide clear descriptions of our services and are transparent about what is included in the transfer. We regret that there was a misunderstanding, but we hope these clarifications help explain the situation.

Friendly & adventurous journey to Khiva
We had a really good experience with our driver. He didn't speak English, but with the help of some basic Russian from someone in the group and modern technology (and good old talking with hands), we could solve all questions. Driver was extremely kind and friendly, took good care of us, did frequent breaks without us having to ask for it, brought us to a great lunch spot, pointed out cool things to photograph and made sure that the journey wasn't just a matter of transportation but a true experience.
We also had to do some last minute logistical changes because of hotel bookings, and the support via the tour operator was excellent.
