Our guide, Jean Christopher, was very informative and as a long term resident of Bordeaux clearly loves his city. The tour is about 12km in length and approx 3 hours duration. The city is very flat so the 3 geared bikes are all that is needed. JC explains, in an interesting way, the city history and sights, of which there is a huge amount. I would highly recommend it as a great way to get to know your way about and appreciate the beauty of the city. As he had to adapt to changing events on the tour he frequently said, "We will now go somewhere'. The 'somewhere' was invariably interesting.

Great bike tour
This was so much fun. Our guide Jean-Christophe was great, leading us around Bordeaux on our cruiser bikes. It’s an extensive but pretty flat route, taking in an extensive amount of the city in 2.5 hours at a pretty relaxed pace. We got a great overview of the city which enabled us to work out what to visit in more depth over the next couple of days. Highly recommended.

A very enjoyable interesting tour in Bordeaux by bike.
We had a very enjoyable and informative bike tour in Bordeaux. The bikes were very comfortable and Susannah our guide took us around the city with regular stops to inform us about the history of the city. I would fully recommend.

Great introduction to Bordeaux
I was only in Bordeaux for a couple of days, so this was a great way to see all the main attractions before deciding which ones to revisit. Jean-Christophe was an excellent guide and it was wonderful to get an insight into culture and history from someone who is so knowledgeable and who obviously loves his city and his job.

The best way to see Bordeaux!
The best thing we did in Bordeaux! A wonderful relaxed bike ride with a fantastic host. We weren’t expecting the knowledge & detailed history lesson..it was fab!

A Must Do if in Bordeaux
What a wonderful way to explore beautiful Bordeaux and learn about its interesting history. Jean was a fantastic guide and he even made sure we got the amazing Gross Cloche bell ringing into our trip.

Must Do Bike Tour when in Bordeaux
We totally recommend booking a bike tour with JC!! Don’t think twice, just book it, you won’t regret it!
JC has been living in Bordeaux for over 50 years, so he knows the city inside and out. We absolutely loved seeing Bordeaux through his eyes. The tour felt authentic, personal, and relaxed, definitely not your typical tourist tour with a standard script.
He took his time, never rushed us, and shared so many stories and little details that made the experience really special. The bikes were in perfect condition too!
We also loved supporting a local business and getting to experience the city from a local’s perspective.
