Daehan Hanbok is under 10 minutes walk from the Gyeongbokgung Palace. I did some research online and heard that they had larger sizes. I booked The location was easy to find. Staff spoke some English, but the communication breakdown comes more from incomplete direction rather than language barriers. I booked the Premium Hanbok rental for 2. I wanted the Royal look and my sweet boyfriend followed along. The women's is on 2nd floor and the men's is on 3rd floor. Lockers and returns are on 4th floor. So you pick your outfit and they'll help you get dress, but only 1 outfit change is included with the price. If for some reason you don't like it you would have to pay additional fees for additional outfit change support. The experience was really stressful and you get minimum support from staff but the upside is that they have a big selection compared to other shops I glanced by. I was lucky I wore a tanktop and shorts under my clothes so I was able to put my hanbok over it. My boyfriend was melting with his normal clothes under his hanbok in the heat of the summer. At the store they really work to upsell you. I paid additional for a hair do and I did notttttt like what the girl originally did. It made me look like I had a bald spot in front. I asked her to redo it and she basically talked smack about me. I totally understood the annoyed body language. I'm not gonna pay to look bad all day. Sigh. Returning the clothes was a big mess too. And they were yanking at my hair removing the bobby pins and accessories put in. Jeez so rough. Not a perfect experience but the location and the selection are big positives. It gets really busy so go early to avoid crowds.

The rental place is near the Palace. They provided Korean costumes to wear. Hats and accessories like parasols are available for an additional price. It was nice dressing up and taking pictures by the palace. Entry into the palace is an additional fee and would take more time. Expect about two hours to get to the palace, take pictures and get back.

excellent service, many hanbok options, the hairstyle was beautiful for a very fair price. Their instance is great. I highly recommend! They're on the 2nd floor

Cheap enough but very unorganized and some of the staff were very rude. Could have taken clothes with me and no one would have ever noticed.
