ラガナス ザキントス島：マラソニッシ、ケリ洞窟、ウミガメ観察

Recommended to a few at our hotel when we got back, not quite sure where the meeting point was but only 1 kiosk on the beach and soon sorted. You have to wade out and back to the boat which could be waist high and climbing the steps to the boat could be a bit of a challenge for the not so able person but everyone got on. first stop was to see the turtle which was amazing, quite a few boats buzzing about to do the same but we saw one which was the highlight for a lot of our group. Next was a trip to the Keri caves and Arch which you go through to your first swim stop. Sea was a bit choppy so a few went in for a short 5 min dip to give us more time on Marathonissi Island. This was a beautiful beach with clear water and a few small fish swimming near. It also had a few boats selling food and drinks, great for sunbathing or snorkelling

Absolutely brilliant experience couldn't recommend it enough, our captain was absolutely fantastic as well very kind and explained through everything well, would definitely recommend! However note you do have to go in the ocean to get to the boat just a heads up, also the TripAdvisor times weren't the same as when we got there, we booked for 9 but it was 10 when we go there, not an issue though! We just had a drink nearby beforehand :)

Nice experience with nice people, a must go in Zante.

We went to some sort of caves, only saw the outside, and didn't see any turtles in the swimming spot, which is a shame. The price is okay but I don't recommend it, pay more for another one

We went on a guided tour in Laganas to see the sea turtles, but we were left with an embarrassing feeling that we had paid money for a tour where the sea turtles were clearly being chased around for the tourists’ sake. They surrounded the turtles in a circle of motorboats! You don’t have to be an expert to understand how cruel this is for the turtles, who clearly don’t know where to go or how to get away. This is not their natural behavior, and they are only there because they are being fed. I would not recommend anyone paying for this tour!! Please respect our animals! 🐢💔

The only truly beautiful thing about the excursion was the Keri Caves. After that, we spent an hour on the island of Marathonissi, practically packed together with a crowd of tourists, all arrived with the numerous boats that offer the exact same tourist tour. We then took another boat excursion to the north of the island, which was definitely more beautiful and evocative. In my opinion, it is much more worth choosing that one.

Registration at the beach was super unfriendly and very intrusive. The man on the boat was nice. We saw a sea turtle at the beginning. At the 1st stop, 50 minutes of swimming were planned. This turned into 1h 30 min, so we didn't have more than 10 minutes to swim at the 2nd stop. No bathroom breaks provided.

We were lucky enough to spot the famous Caretta Caretta turtles, visit the beautiful Marathonisi (aka Turtle Island), and explore the stunning Keri Caves. Crystal-clear water, incredible scenery, and plenty of moments where we seriously considered never going back home. But the real star of the day deserves a special mention: Captain Thanos! He handled the boat like an absolute legend — smooth, confident, and making every turn look ridiculously easy. If there were a Formula 1 championship for boats, we’d put our money on him.

So enjoyable & relaxed tour.We enjoyed the the turtles at the bottom of the sea and the swimming at the beaches. The crew member was so polite and approachable with further information.
