While, in the end, this excursion was fantastic, the start was VERY sketchy. The meeting information was non-existent upon booking. Aside from an address, We had NO idea where to meet the tour guide and or what the expect. We took the ferry over and were approached by a local claiming to have the day off from our resort and insisted we follow him to his 'souvenir' shop for a map which was a jewelry store. He was trying to persuade us to rent a golf cart from him there, but thankfully we were able to walk away just feeling annoyed. We still had no idea where we were going and anytime we asked someone they pointed us in a different direction. We tried to use our map app on the phone however that took us to a random shop on the street. When we finally found the small "office' we needed to be at, we were told to follow what was our tour guide down to the beach; which happened to be RIGHT next to the ferry. We were then told to sit there and wait. And we did that for about 30+ minutes with no further instructions or anyone saying anything to us. When I finally walked over to the manager who was kinda just standing around, he whistled for someone to come over and what do you know it was our tour guide we had followed there. And we were then on our way to the boat. Once we got on the boat, the excursion was fantastic. Lots of time to snorkel and freedom to go where we wanted. The tour guide was really great and pointed out lots of the different fish and places to look. The lunch was at some sort of local beach. It was very hot and crowded. The food was buffet style. It was very hot day and at this point I think we were all swam out. I will say again, the excursion is worth it, the meeting info needs to be listed. It is literally located right next to the ferry across from Senor Frogs. So there ya go!!! Now you can get there and have fun!! 😁

José and Eddie took good care of the group, the equipment was adequate, they are pros and know their jobs. Two comments: * the snorkeling experience is in water 3-4 meters deep with big swells. This means you are fairly far from the fish--and the underwater sculpture garden-- and the waves are pitching you here and there. For a Primo snorkeling experience, I recommend staying on the mainland and driving down to Akumal or Xel-Ha south of Cancun. The lagoons are calm and the sealife is much closer. * the lunch was strange. Oily mackeral and macaroni salad and runny refried beans, expensive drinks, served in an atmosphere of a Mexican flea market. All designed to relieve you of as many of your wet peso notes as possible. Sorry I'm not one of the glowing, effusive reviewers. But I do tell it like it is.

Awesome crew, knowledgeable about the area and spot fish and wildlife

Our snorkeling trip exceeded our expectations! We saw a lot more fish than expected including barracudas, turtles, a stingray, palometa, and lots of reef fish. The guides were attentive and took good care of a range of abilities. We enjoyed the small tour group and lunch was a delicious meal with red snapper and a variety of other options like beans, rice, tortillas, watermelon, etc. Definitwly bring your own drinks (water), Dramamine if sensitive, and towels. We enjoyed having our own snorkels but other folks seemed happy using theirs. Lovely lunch with options to buy drinks, shop for souvenirs, and get photos on the Isla Mujeres swing. They did have the captive nurse sharks on the dock for entertainment but this is not their operation so I don’t hold them responsible. Fabulous day for boating and snorkeling. The statues were cool as well but just the views from the boat and the snorkeling overall were spectacular. Loved it all.

Great fun! Bring water/drinks. Saw lots of fish. Lunch was yummy. The crew was helpful, even for those in the group that were nervous about the water.

Leo and Philippe were amazing! This was the first time for us and they made us feel safe! It was so enjoyable and beautiful! I will definitely be doing this again!

Fun but better to see MUSA scuba diving because its too deep. and there really isnt that much to see. Younger kids like below age 10 won't love it unless they are very adventurous. The pictures embellish what you see.

Fantastic experience. Top professionals. Kids had a great time! They were on time and moved through everything at a perfect pace.
