Terrific beer tour thanks to our guide Theresa who was knowledgeable about all the breweries, the types of beer we tried, beer making, and Asheville in general. Three great places, 12 interesting beers, and pizza, too. Highly recommend. Theresa ensured we had a fun day.
Enjoyed tastings at three different breweries with Sam.
Sam is knowledgeable about all things beer. It was educational about the process of making beer, the various beers we tried, and the vast number of breweries in the area. While he’s not drinking on the tour, he’s a great guy for the guests to have a beer with.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time on our Asheville beer tour! Sam was knowledgeable, fun, and clearly passionate about the local craft beer scene. He shared great history about Asheville, explained the brewing process in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure everyone felt included and relaxed the entire time. The brewery stops were perfectly chosen, the pacing was great, and we never felt rushed. This tour truly elevated our Asheville experience and was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting—whether you’re a casual beer drinker or a true craft beer fan! 🍻
Sam was great! Very friendly, super informative & and extremely helpful. Would absolutely go on his tour again. Beer diversity was awesome.

Learned a great deal about brewing and tasted some phenomenal beer. Would recommend Sam if you do this tour. Wealth of knowledge!!
Sam was our guide and had all the knowledge! 10/10 would recommend! We visited 3 breweries while on the tour. The snack was PIZZA! pleasantly surprised!
We had a great experience with City Brew Tours and our guide Sam! Sam was knowledgeable about the brewing process, the beers we tasted, and the local brewing culture of Asheville. Beyond this, Sam went out of his way to make sure our party had everything we needed and to have a good time.
