This was best trip I had while in Italy ( did 4 Viator tours over three cities) loved the island. Our guide Alberto, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, always fun, great personality, very helpful, and sings! We did chair lift, blue grotto, and boat ride around the island. Loved the small group experience. Kudoes to Alberto for really making this trip a delight!
From the moment we arrived, Michele took great care of us. He was wonderful at telling us how much time we had (so we could grab coffees or snacks) and he helped us get efficiently to all of the areas of Anacapri and Capri (chair lift, blue grotto etc). He also recommended a perfect lunch spot that had delicious pizza, caprise salads, lemoncello spritzes and more. I would not have wanted to tour Capri without Michele’s expert guidance. We would highly recommend to all!
The Small Group Tour itself from Naples to Blue Grotto, Anacapri and Capri was fantastic. We totally enjoyed it. Meeting up with the tour was a different story. We almost missed the tour because the instructions given for the meeting point was incorrect and confusing. Was told to meet just outside the main entrance of the port where a large sign reading Molo Beverello would be displayed on a wall. We never saw that. There was no signs, nothing when we exited the terminal. Kept asking different guides about Molo Beverello and they kept pointing to the left. We saw nothing. Kept walking a little ways and finally saw a building with Molo Beverello. Apparently Molo Beverello is the main company that operates the ferry terminal that travels back and forth to Capri. Wasn't told that. Still not sure if we were in the right place. We went inside the ferry terminal and never saw a guide holding sign that says "Capri and Blue Grotto" which our instructions stated. Needless to say the experience trying to find our group was horrible. For the price of this excursion, someone should meet those going on this tour right outside the main entrance of the cruise terminal with a sign. We should not have to run around all over the place trying to find our tour and asking people who don't even speak our language. We finally called the contact we were given and still had a difficult time getting through to anyone. We finally did reach someone who directed us where to meet there. Instructions given for meeting point was terrible. We almost gave up.

All meeting point instructions are clearly indicated on your voucher, including a map link to help you locate it easily. The meeting point is directly outside the main entrance of the ferry terminal which is called Molo Beverello, by the “Molo Beverello” sign on the wall, across from the castle, exactly as stated on the voucher. Our guides are always present at the meeting point from 7:30 am to welcome guests, and thanks to the clear instructions provided, guests usually find the location without any issues. Additionally, an emergency contact number is included on your voucher, and our team is always reachable should any assistance be needed. On the day of the tour, you were the only guest who experienced difficulty finding the meeting point. We attempted to contact you and were able to arrange for you to meet our guide shortly afterward. For future reference, we kindly recommend reviewing the meeting point information on the voucher carefully and contacting the emergency number provided if any assistance is needed. So the tour doesn’t offer you anything that you couldn’t do on your own. You take the same ferry to Capri like anybody else. You arrive there and are taken on a small crammed mini bus without AC at 95F to ANACAPRI. They just tell you what is there and how to get there. Pretty easy as it is small. You’re told to come back two hours later where you’re taken to the blue grotto. Spend two hours under the blazing sun the same as if you weren’t on a tour. Then you’re dropped off at the port and said to walk around or go to the beach and be back in 1 hour. You probably could do all of That on your own without any issues for less than a third of what the tour costs

Tiziana, our guide, was fantastic! However, the wait to enter the Blue Grotto was almost two hours, and it was scorching hot. I’m not sure if it was worth the time and effort.
Nathalie was a great tour guide. We were so fortunate the blue grotto was open for us and there was no line as there can be 1+ hour long waits. We enjoyed having free time in Anacapri and Capri to explore and eat. The additional expense of the chairlift was worth it. Make sure to have a tip for the blue grotto boat guide. No complaints but the tour did say small group and there were 20 of us.
Alberto was a star! Everyone from the tour kept reiterating that it was the best tour they’ve ever been on. He truly looked out for each and every one of us throughout the whole 8 hour experience. I only wish the tour was longer!
10/10 we did the chair lift to the very top of Capri & added the boat tour around Capri right after. Worth every penny! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience!!
Teresa was a terrific guide, and we were incredibly lucky that we didn't have to wait at all to enter the Blue Grotto. Teresa made sure that our group moved quickly getting off the ferry, and that allowed us to get onto the first bus and get out to the Blue Grotto before any crowds arrived. Less than 5 minutes after getting off the bus, we were on a boat entering the Blue Grotto. It was a truly wonderful experience. Because we were all able to see the Blue Grotto so quickly, we also were able to ride the Mount Solaro chairlift (again with some helpful know-how from Teresa to assist us getting through the line quickly), eat a nice lunch, do a little bit of shopping and wandering, and still have time to take a boat ride around the island to see the different coves and grottos and Faraglioni rocks. It was an unforgettable day and many many thanks to Teresa for making it happen!
