I had an absolutely fantastic photography tour with Aurélien in Saigon. Aurélien is not only a very talented photographer, but also an excellent guide. He has a great eye for finding interesting situations and knows when to stop, when to wait, and how to approach a scene. I learned a lot simply by watching the way he sees and photographs the city. I came away with some of my favourite photographs from my time in Vietnam. He was also friendly, patient and generous with his knowledge throughout the morning. If you’re passionate about photography and want to experience Saigon through a photographer’s eyes rather than simply visit the usual tourist spots, I couldn’t recommend Aurélien enough. Thank you again for a fantastic morning ! 🙏

Adrien is truly a gem and goes above and beyond for his clients! He not only picked me up from my hostel on his bike, but he treated me to coffee, a super tasty and local breakfast spot, a booklet of his work to refer to for looking up photography rules, and a collection of his own customized postcards as souvenirs to bring back home. As a new street photographer, I was previously very anxious about getting close up to my subjects, but Adrien showed me how to approach people confidently - by saying “hi” in their language and with a smile. Throughout this tour, it’s clear that Adrien truly loves what he does and approaches his work with both attention to detail and lots of love. I learned so much about prioritizing lighting, symmetry, balance, and just having fun with it! Lastly, my camera died by the end of the tour and he was sweet enough to drive to a store so I could buy another battery and then he drove me home. His level of hospitality is unmatched!

I had an amazing experience on Adrien’s street photography tour. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain not only the technical side of photography, but also how to observe a scene, anticipate moments, compose better, and approach street photography with more confidence. What I appreciated the most was how practical the tour was. Adrien gave me advice while we were actually shooting, pointed out things I would normally miss, and helped me understand what I could improve in real time. I genuinely feel like I learned a lot in just a few hours and came away with a completely different way of looking at street photography. He’s also very easygoing, passionate, and great to spend time with. I would absolutely recommend his tour to anyone who wants to improve their photography, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience. Thanks again Adrien definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

I was finally able to discover this tour, after having gifted it to all my friends, and I spent an incredible morning.   I wanted to get back into photography, which I had neglected for a few years without really knowing why. I absolutely do not regret this experience: on the contrary, it made me want to take my camera out again and even, why not, buy a new one!   Adrien is extremely competent and a great teacher. He started with a few explanations and reminders about camera settings over a coffee, then we set off to discover a lovely local market, passing through the beautiful narrow streets of Saigon. He observes, advises, and answers all questions with great clarity.   I had a great morning and, as a bonus, I left with some very beautiful photos of Saigon. Do not hesitate at all: Adrien is great!

I have done many photo tours, but this is the only one that I’d absolutely recommend over and over again to everyone. First of all, Adrien is probably one of the nicest person you could meet. His warmth sharing his love for photography is amazing, and due to this the entire experience is a total treat. When most photo tours just take you places, he actually takes the time to chat with you over a coffee to share his experience and tips. It’s not a generic talk either, he truly tailors it for you so it’s an incredibly valuable conversation with someone competent and passionate about photography. In a world of competitive gate-keeping photographers, he’s a gem of generosity. As someone who has worked as a professional photographer I consider myself experienced, but I have learnt so much that morning, more than I have in any other photography workshop or tours before actually. Also side note for Fujifilm cameras users he’s really versed in these which was awesome to get me unstuck with the settings. The walk itself was fabulous, Saigon’s a total photographer dream and actually seeing him interact with the locals is very inspiring. Beyond the morning of the walk, the experience has set me on the right track to help improve my street photography practice on the long run. I feel very privileged to have had someone so talented share his time for such a wholesome experience. Once again, I can’t recommend enough!

I had a wonderful morning with Adrien, who is both very nice and experienced in photography! We explored the streets of the Chinese district of Saigon and wandered through several local markets. Adrien speaks Vietnamese, which facilitates exchanges with the merchants and residents of the neighborhood. After discussing street photography, he showed me several very useful settings on my camera. Discovering his shooting style (the elements he considers, the way he composes his photos, etc.) was also very interesting! This tour represents a certain cost, but it is worth the trip.

During our stay in Ho Chi Minh City we had the chance to be accompanied by Adrien Jean, an exceptional photo guide, who allowed us to discover part of District 4 through his tour “Step into Saigon Unseen”. With patience and passion, he learned about our levels in photography, shared his vision of street photography and telling stories in pictures. He helped us compose beautiful images with our camera and phone, play with Saigonese light and capture the soul of the neighborhood. Beyond technique, he shared his love for the city, his anecdotes, his artist’s gaze, making this exploration as enriching humanly as it is photographically. Thanks to him, we discovered the vibrant heart of the city: its bustling alleyways, its old buildings full of character, its hidden cafes and those scenes of daily life that would never have been noticed alone. We keep an excellent memory of this outing, made of encounters, colors, and little authentic moments. A huge thank you to him for his professionalism, kindness and ability to reveal the hidden beauty of Saigon. An experience that we recommend to all travelers passionate about images and places off tourist trails.

Absolutely fantastic tour. I met Adrien in a coffee shop in the center perfectly on time. He showed me very interesting locations (markets without tourists, small alleys, old houses & temples) which I would never ever found on my own. Also he gave me some really helpful tips on street photography. Unfortunately he was fully booked already for the rest of the week ... I would have booked another tour .... Thanks for a great morning!
