ウィーン・ヴァッハウ渓谷でのワイン・テイスティング・バイク・ツアー

This area of Austria is such a beautiful countryside. This tour was very amazing and we had great weather to give us a perfect day! This is a must do day trip from Vienna.

We took train with guide to krems got bikes and had a great day visiting wineries and a pub for lunch. Some people had e-bikes, we had regular bikes. We rode 18 miles, so if you order a regular bike keep that in mind. Our guide Nicholaus did a great job keeping track of everyone and showing us the sites

Brilliant! It's not the cheapest trip no and you do have to sit on a train for an hour to get to the location sadly BUT...... ...... On a sunny day this is such a beautiful location. It looks amazing, vineyards everywhere and the wines were gorgeous, had to buy some to take home!! Good photo ops, a side walk up a fairly steep staircase hill to an old ruined castle and a quaint village with Rabbit **** chocolate pellets 😅 The cycle route is very easy, anyone of any fitness can manage and the guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's just a nice pleasant day and having a joyful Texan family to banter with the whole time just added to the enjoyment. Trips are greatly enhanced by having a good group which is luck of the draw and here I got lucky. If you like wine and country scenery, this is a must do.

This day was one of my highlights in Vienna. From the train ride, to the beautiful and easy bike ride, good quality bikes, well organised and interesting wine tastings, the boat ride with bikes across the Danube, the walk up to Durnstein Castle and that view!!! And lunch and looking round Durnstein, every moment was a total delight. Wow! I want to book with this company next time I’m in Vienna. Sanna was a fabulous guide too. Very informative but also gave us space to enjoy parts of it on our own.

Beautiful biking through the country side. You are on one fast roads but there is a bike lane. Riders should be aware that trucks will not stop for them and use extreme caution. The pace can be brisk for some so an e bike would be a smart option. We visited 2 wineries that were lovely and stopped in a family restaurant for lunch in a quaint town. You could shop or do a short hike to a church. A wonderful way to spend time and afternoon learning about wines of the area. Alex our guide was enthusiastic!

Overall, the tour is great. The Wachau Valley is beautiful. The hosts at each of the wineries were really fun to talk to, and the wine itself was good. That said, the tour might as well have been self-guided. The guide was a few minutes late getting started at the meeting location and then rushed us all to the subway, she told us the wrong stop to get off at (but caught that at the last minute), she then got us to the train station to find out the train was canceled (but I think we would have missed the train if it had been on time). We had to wait an hour for the next train. The guide provided no commentary at all during the bike ride or anywhere along the tour. The lunch was mediocre at best (I recommend finding your own lunch spot vs. what they recommend). At the end of the trip, the guide got off at an earlier train station and left us all to figure out how to get back to the start on our own. In the end there was nothing wrong with the tour and we had a great time, but we could have just rented bikes own our own and made our own wine tasting plans.

This would be one of the best tours I have ever done. Sunna was the best guide snd provided such an amazing day and experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. 100% recommend this your.🙌

You should be comfortable riding bikes on streets with automobiles though there wasn’t much of that. The average speed was about 9 or 10 mph.

Alexandra was a high energy inclusive young woman from Hungary that enthusiastically shared her knowledge with the group. I believe that all of us found her enthusiasm infectious. The first winery that she brought us to was an experience like no other that I have had on a wine trip. The proprietor shared family history as he shared 5 of his vintages with us and it was intriguing. Lunch and a hike up a mountain to a castle was beautiful, and the biking was easy and fun. Totally an enjoyable experience.

Ron was nice and very knowledgable; wonderful sceenery and great wines. What I did not know was that the whole journey took us more than 10 hours. Your have to be in a good fit to cycle with Ron as we were cycling fast 29 kilomethers; I am in a good shape in mys 50´s but I was surprised about the speed. But we did it!
