The guide was doing the...
The guide was doing the tour in 3 languages. French, English and Italian which made the tour longer than it could have been Also she did not have any microphone and her voice was very soft and therefore hard to understand.

Pleasant couple of hours
Easy meeting spot, Andrea was a knowledgable and friendly guide. Walk was a very casual pace past some of the historic town’s highlights. The glass of wine at the end was delicious and welcome but not exactly a ‘tasting experience’ rather just a glass of wine.

Beware the tour format
The tour was ok, but not great. The guide gave the information in English first, then Italian, so there was a lot of waiting around. Did not know this would be the format. I thought I signed up for an English tour, not 2 separate groups combined.

Worth doing to see key sites of the city
Interesting tour of the main sites. Tour was done in two languages so a bit of waiting whilst guide repeated the information. Underground museum was interesting and worth a visit. Nice touch to have wine, water and snacks at the end of the tour.

This is not working for us
Guide too young although very professional. The problem was entrusting a group of 15 people to a guy still in training (he will become very good but he needs time and a little more experience). Among other things, the tour was supposed to be in Italian and instead the group was mixed, which doubled all the times for the translation into English. Negative experience. Stunning Lecce, what a shame!

Very knowledgeable guide...
Very knowledgeable guide and the museum at the end is very interesting. Seeing a house that has been lived in for over 2000 years is very impressive

And nice introduction to Lecce. Andrea was very knowledgeable. The underground museum was fascinating and worth seeing!
