Our rainforest excursion in El Yunque National Forest was truly an unforgettable experience! 🌿🌧️🇵🇷 We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. DJ was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and so welcoming. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like we had known him for years. Even hiking through the rain, he made the experience fun, comfortable and memorable. It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the care, time and genuine kindness he showed us throughout the entire excursion. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience, and we will always remember the beautiful adventure we shared in El Yunque. If you’re considering this excursion, do it! We had such an amazing experience exploring El Yunque Rainforest! Our tour guide, JD, was absolutely wonderful. He was so personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire excursion fun and memorable. JD really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every part of the experience, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing along the way. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico and planning an El Yunque excursion, I highly recommend asking for JD! He truly made this one of the highlights of our trip. 🌿🇵🇷❤️

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience exploring El Yunque with DJ as our tour guide! From the very beginning, DJ was incredibly friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. He didn’t just show us around — he made the entire experience feel like we were exploring Puerto Rico with a friend. DJ knew all the best spots, shared so much interesting information about El Yunque and Puerto Rican culture, and made the whole tour so much fun. He was also super patient and helpful when it came to taking pictures and making sure we got to enjoy every part of the experience. You can tell DJ genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in showing people the beauty of Puerto Rico. El Yunque was already breathtaking, but having DJ guide us through it made the experience even more memorable. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico and thinking about doing an El Yunque tour, ask for DJ! You will not regret it. 10/10 experience, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 🇵🇷🌴💚

The hike to water activities is strenuous but loads of fun. Rope swing was a lil’ scary. Be careful on slick rocks.

It is beautiful rainforest and the sliding through the waterfall and jumping off the rocks 20 feet to the water, every thing

The experience was amazing from start to finish good vibes. If you need guides pick Angel and Jorge both very professional and fun. Id definitely go with them again !!!

Our guide, DJ, was amazing. I will say it was quite the hike but worth it in the end with the slide and cliff jump! DJ made sure we felt safe and was very helpful throughout every step.

The itinerary is pretty deceptive. You drive there, walk to the waterslide, play in the water for an hour, then walk back. It isn’t a horrible activity, and we managed to have some fun, but it wasn’t at all what the description suggests. If you just want a family hike and fun in the water, it’s great. If you actually want to experience and learn about the rainforest, look elsewhere.

The tour was beautiful and absolutely worth booking. The hike itself is a bit difficult, but our guide Carlos was so careful and helpful. He was so funny and light hearted but also is very experienced and definitely knows what he's doing. The waterslide and rope swing is a must, if you're looking for a nice couple hour tour, this is the one!
