Kiwis in Hué
It was a great thing to do while in Hué. The temperature was a bit extreme so 2 to 3 hours was plenty.
Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The bikes were fantastic

Fantastic ride to Hoi An from Hué
An excellent company. I hired a bike for one day to ride around the temples and then the second day to do the one way ride to Hoi An.
The bikes are kept in excellent condition, indeed the husband wanted the bike back after the first day to service it again for day two!
For the tour I had Lee who was excellent. He spoke some of the best English I've come across while in Vietnam and so I could ask him many different questions about sort, education and politics in Vietnam. He rode at my pace and as he said, we're having a nice day out, it's not a race!
We ride for about 40km on roads even the Dutch would call flat stopping for a coffee along the way plus also stopping to see Thanh Toan bridge and then ride past the city of ghosts cemetery which is definitely worth the journey alone, it truly is an incredible sight.
We then got into the van and drive for about 50 mins to a restaurant for lunch in Lan Co. This combination means you avoid tidying in the midday sun as we got into the van at 12 and started again at 1440.
After a 5km ride we started the Hai Van pass. It's just under 10km steady climb up 500m and then if course another 9km back down in the other side.
After that it was back in the minivan for the transfer to my hotel
