私たちの街の歴史的建造物や語られざる物語を深く探究し、都市奴隷制の影から自由と勝利の光へと至る道筋をたどりましょう。有名なガラ・ギーチー族の語り部シスター・パットが率いるこのツアーでは、私たちの街の豊かで複雑な過去のタペストリーを深く掘り下げ、平等と正義のために戦った人々の苦闘、回復力、永続的な貢献にスポットライトを当てます。 これは単なる歴史ツアーではなく、人間の精神と忍耐力を力強く探究するツアーです。西アフリカの奴隷が最初に到着し、拘束され、売られた場所の光景と物語を体験してください。リバー ストリート、ファクターズ ウォーク、ジョンソン スクエア、ローレル グローブ墓地などの重要な場所を訪れてください。それぞれの場所は、私たちの共通の歴史との感動的なつながりを示しています。 天候と交通状況が許せば、2～2.5時間かけて行われるこのツアーでは、過去を称えるだけでなく、より公正で包括的な未来への新たな決意を喚起します。

This is one of the most informative tours that I have experienced pertaining to the history of my African American ancestors. Our tour guide took us back us in time and strategically brought us back to the presence. It was like reading a suspense novel and not being able to put it down.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! I took my four kids aged 7-15. My 7 year old was exhausted and fell asleep on the bus but that was from a week of playing hard at the beach. My other kids stayed engaged and said they all liked it. They loved Pat’s info and demeanor and how she taught with her stories and truth telling! We accidentally got on the wrong tour bus at first and this company was super helpful and came and sent a shuttle to get us to the rest of the group! Then at the end we had to leave a bit early and Pat was very gracious about that too. It was a touch longer for kids but good info so kept everybody engaged. Thank you!

It was ok we thought we were going to see an actual plantation with slave quarters this was a lot of talking we really didn’t see a lot . For the money I don’t think it was worth it
