The distillery had a sign saying they were closed for vacation. We didn’t get to do the tequila tasting tour.

we were walking by and happen to stumble upon this tequila tasting and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in PV. Saul was soo incredibly kind and funny. He walked us through all the different tequilas and spirits with his own special flare. We walked out of there a little wobbly but with a great memory and a few new amazing bottles of tequila.

If you’re in the area, go see Saul, seriously. We stopped in with a group of 14 for a complimentary tasting and ended up leaving with incredible tequila and custom engraved bottles. Saul made the whole experience unforgettable. What really stood out was that he started the tasting with the extra añejo instead of the usual blanco, which was genius. Getting to try the premium tequila first, with a fresh palate, made such a difference and really let the flavors shine. He also took the time to personally etch our bottles with custom designs and messages at no extra charge, which was such an awesome touch. Saul brings great energy, knows his tequila, and clearly cares about creating a memorable experience. Do yourself a favor and stop by, and definitely take care of him with a generous tip. He absolutely earns it!

If you’re interested in tequila, the Premium Tequila Tasting Puerto Vallarta experience at Vallarta Tequila Tastings is absolutely worth doing. Home to Puerto Vallarta’s only tequila distillery, they specialize in small-batch, high-quality tequila, and the entire tasting experience is both fun and incredibly informative. My teacher, Saul, was fantastic—very knowledgeable and passionate about tequila. He explained the entire production process in a way that was easy to understand, along with the differences between the various styles of tequila. We tasted six different types of tequila, each with its own unique character, and also sampled several flavoured tequilas. The coffee tequila was my personal favourite—smooth, rich, and dangerously good. One of the coolest parts of the experience was being able to personally engrave the bottle I purchased, which makes for a great souvenir or gift. If you want to learn more about tequila while tasting some excellent small-batch varieties, this is a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience in Puerto Vallarta. Highly recommended!

Saul was a great host. Super engaging and knowledgeable. The tasting was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend it for a fun midday activity.

We did a tasting on our trip this week. Was the highlight of our outings. Saul was the best.. and a must to get the best experience!! If you love or just like tequila a little you will learn alot and have a great time!!

The ability to come at any time during their business hours was super convenient. We ended up with a private tasting. Javi was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The tequila is very good. They will make a sales pitch (perfectly reasonable) but I wasn’t pushy at all. He also let us try multiple flavors more than once. The whole experience was a little less than an hour which gave us greater flexibility with our day in Puerto Vallarta
