Simply amazing. Andrés is a great Guide, professional, calm and always in a good mood. The equipment was perfect as well.

Andres was punctual, Professional and pleasant. We had a great experience. It was a memorable day on the volcano. He brought extra equipment that we needed. We enjoyed his company.

Unfortunately, my husband and I have very mixed feelings about our experience with this tour. While the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the nature and ascent were incredible, the experience was unfortunately soured by Andres. My husband and I embarked on this experience just 12 hours after completing a 24 hour travel day, and warned Andres that we were tired and therefore would be a little slower. Andres is an incredible trekker and climber himself, and spent the entire ascent a good 100+ meters ahead of us, barely looking back to check in with us. There were times where we couldn't even see him to make sure we were going the right way, even though we are both experienced hikers and in great physical shape. Once we got on the glacier, he was extremely helpful, helping to adjust our equipment as we had some issues with it. He was kind and helpful during this part, and especially opened up to us once we started speaking Spanish to him, rather than English. The descent however, was our biggest issue with this experience. Unfortunately, about 20-30 mins into the descent, I injured my knee. However, Andres was significantly further ahead of us for almost the entire descent (I would estimate at least 500m, if not even more), and we were unable to communicate to him that I was hurt. I am so thankful my husband was with me because if I had done this alone, I would have been stranded without my guide and unable to get help in any way. It took us over an hour to even catch up to Andres as he did not wait for us anywhere for the first half of the descent. We informed him of my injury and he just told us to take our time and proceeded to descend quickly down the next section. Once again, he was so far away from us, and we were unable to communicate with him or get help from him for the next 2 hours. My pain was quite severe, and I could barely walk, and basically had to slide down the mountain on one leg, with our guide nowhere to be seen. Finally, for the very last stretch of the descent, Andres at least took my pack from me to ease my load and once again, ran ahead. It took us another hour (if not more) to finally descend to his car. I am a seasoned traveler and have done many international trips, including a large number of guided experiences all over. I have never ever had a guide who abandoned their group for almost the entire experience. This was so disappointing, as the climb itself would have been absolutely incredible, but ended up being such a bad experience. Overall I would highly recommend climbing the Osorno Volcano, just with a different company where the guide is present with the customers and ensuring a safe experience.

Starting in the dark, seeing the sunrise on the climb and climbing the glacier with grasses and piolet is my best experience in Puerto Varas. Thank you very much Andres.

Climbing to the Osorno volcano was a fantastic experience. Andres, who was the guide, is quite professional and passed a lot of confidence. Essential equipment was provided. There was a lot of communication before and during the Ascension.

An experience that will remain engraved in my mind for a lifetime.
