The excursion was especially beautiful and educational thanks to our tour guide Hamid ❣️ He spoke good German, was very attentive, and was able to share a lot of interesting facts about Egypt and the Bedouins. At the same time, he also showed great interest in German culture, and it felt like talking to a friend. He was super sweet to the two children. Just a great person. Regarding the excursion itself, one must say that one drives the jeep through the desert oneself and then also back at night in the dark. That is quite adventurous. The quad bike ride was fast and good. You can skip the one-minute camel ride and the showing of other animals (monkey, turtles, budgie, dog, chameleon and small iguanas) that are not kept in a species-appropriate manner 😢. The climb up the mountain is not easy, but the sunset makes up for it. The food was good and the stargazing as well. Regarding the pickup, I have to say that we waited an hour for nothing because we were not informed of the new time for the pickup. When being brought back, one first had to make phone calls to see who would take us to the hotel. That did not make a good impression. Conclusion: a great guide, but the excursion itself has its drawbacks. And important: anyone who does not want to buy a scarf for 5 euros should bring one with them. This information is missing during booking.

Unforgettable Desert Safari in Marsa Alam! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​Yesterday's desert safari operated by Sharm Life Day Tours was absolutely perfect! The entire program was packed with amazing experiences—from the action-packed 4x4 ride to the incredibly fun quad and buggy sessions, followed by a beautiful camel ride. To top it all off, the evening stargazing was truly magical. Everything was super well-organized and ran like clockwork. ​The biggest shoutout goes to our guide, Mohamed. His approach from start to finish was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly friendly, helpful, always had a big smile on his face, and made sure we took home the absolute best memories. If you are looking for a 100% perfect desert experience, I highly recommend this tour!

Muhammad was a fantastic tour guide and I had a really amazing time! Driving though the desert and learning about the stars was a truly wonderful experience and I got to meet some great people.

Mohamed Ramadan told us a lot about the stars, planets, seasons, and navigating by the stars. We used the telescope to observe several planets, but the most important thing was his personality. He has a great sense of humor, is very relaxed, and really makes you appreciate interacting with Egyptians even more because of people like him.

We had a wonderful day in the desert. We are a French family with two teenagers. We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the meeting point near Port Ghalib. There, Dawood introduced himself as our guide and took care of our family (exclusively) throughout the entire day. He is a smart, discreet, and attentive young man (and handsome, too!), and he was the one who guided us through the final part of the experience, focused on the stars. The quad biking and the jeep ride were both great fun. The teenagers absolutely loved it. At the Bedouin village, we were introduced to local herbs, spices, oils, and creams. We bought a few products, but there was no pressure at all, which we really appreciated. Overall, we found a great sense of respect and dignity among Egyptians—more than in some other North African countries. We watched a beautiful sunset from a hill, and a photographer followed us throughout the afternoon. Dinner was simple and good. A “whirling dancer” showed us what the Tanoura is. We ended the day with stargazing led by Dawood. The desert night sky is truly stunning. He taught us how to navigate using the stars and explained the difference between the winter and summer skies. Very interesting. Thanks!

An all-round successful experience – highly recommended! At the beginning we started with a quad tour. Afterwards we were warmly welcomed, served tea and given interesting insights into the life of the Bedouins and their traditions. Afterwards we had the opportunity to try a short camel ride. There was also a tent with various animals such as turtles, a monkey, birds as well as snakes and two small scorpions. It was interesting to see these animals up close, even if this program item was not absolutely necessary for us personally. Afterwards, the jeep tour began: We were allowed to drive the jeeps ourselves while a guide drove ahead and led the group – that was really fun and a real adventure. In the evening we had a very delicious meal with an atmospheric show and music. The finale was a view through the telescope of the Moon and the stars. We got a lot of exciting information about the starry sky – very impressive and interesting. In the end, the quad bike was back – a varied and eventful day with many special impressions.
