We participated in this tour and were lucky enough to have Mohamed as a guide; in addition to making us feel at ease, during the afternoon, once we arrived at the Bedouin tent, he explained a bit of Egyptian history to us, and in the evening he let us observe the stars with his telescope. It was a beautiful day and we recommend it.
My partner and I arrived in the desert in the afternoon around 3:00 PM, where Muhammad was waiting for us, our kind guide who was ready to answer all our questions. After driving the buggies, we arrived at a Bedouin tent where Muhammad explained some interesting facts about ancient Egypt to us. The program continued with quad biking and a camel ride until we returned to the Bedouin tent, where we were able to observe how Arabic bread is prepared and we also saw a pharmacy with all their medicinal herbs. We also tasted some delicious drinks like tamarind and tea. Afterward, we had dinner in the company of Muhammad and his charming personality, and we watched a show featuring traditional dances and fire eaters. After dinner, Muhammad delighted us with an astronomy lesson in the middle of the desert, showing us the stars and Saturn through the telescope and explaining various interesting facts. It is an intense experience to live, but just as exciting and full of adrenaline! We had a lot of fun and want to thank Muhammad from the bottom of our hearts for accompanying us! Beautiful experience, we did everything that is marked on the site, except for the camels by our own ethical choice. But what made it a more unique than rare experience was our guide Mohamed, who told us about the history of Egypt in a way all his own that I must say worked great, and he also acted as a guide for the stars, truly a guy full of surprises. We never had a dull moment; it was always filled with some activity or curiosity. Furthermore, he was super kind and taught us how to write our names in Arabic and with hieroglyphics. I was truly ecstatic and would do it again.
It was a great trip. Especially by Mohammed. From beginning to end, we were fantastically guided by Mohammed. He knew a lot to tell, had a lot of knowledge. You could really tell that he studied history. He came across as very smart. He also knew a lot about the stars. Very kind and helpful. He really made our trip fantastic. The organization was very good, the food was very tasty. The explanation about the different spices was very interesting. Overall a really great trip.

Beautiful and very full day. The driver who picked us up literally scared us to death with how he was driving on the road, trying to be funny... The Bedouin pharmacy is also beautiful.
It has good parts and bad parts. The good: Mahamed tge guide. Knowledgable. Real nice guy. Stars! Food. Quad bikes. Camels. Dessert. Bad: small vendors can be persistant. Too persistant. The "buggy" not really a buggy. The rides are quick, and the guy leading the quads are not the friendliest. Would i recommend it? Yes. If but only for Mohamed and the stars. That part was absolutely amazing!
Our leader Mamohamed was very responsible, he was very friendly, took me and my son the whole way today, he was very patient and gave us a lot of local knowledge. The trip was very tight, full of surprises and excitement, we were very satisfied and I highly recommend it.

The excursion was especially beautiful and educational thanks to our tour guide Hamid ❣️ He spoke good German, was very attentive, and was able to share a lot of interesting facts about Egypt and the Bedouins. At the same time, he also showed great interest in German culture, and it felt like talking to a friend. He was super sweet to the two children. Just a great person. Regarding the excursion itself, one must say that one drives the jeep through the desert oneself and then also back at night in the dark. That is quite adventurous. The quad bike ride was fast and good. You can skip the one-minute camel ride and the showing of other animals (monkey, turtles, budgie, dog, chameleon and small iguanas) that are not kept in a species-appropriate manner 😢. The climb up the mountain is not easy, but the sunset makes up for it. The food was good and the stargazing as well. Regarding the pickup, I have to say that we waited an hour for nothing because we were not informed of the new time for the pickup. When being brought back, one first had to make phone calls to see who would take us to the hotel. That did not make a good impression. Conclusion: a great guide, but the excursion itself has its drawbacks. And important: anyone who does not want to buy a scarf for 5 euros should bring one with them. This information is missing during booking.
