Thanks to Irene and her crew, we had a beautiful and extraordinary day cruising the caldera by catamaran. We saw things you can't see from land. Everything was perfect, including the atmosphere, the music, and especially the hard work of the crew. All the incredible views we enjoyed will remain in our hearts forever. Thank you, Irene, for the opportunity to spend such a wonderful day during our vacation in Santorini.

We were in the market for a Catamaran trip and stumbled across Irene from Ippokampos Sailing at her small stand on the main beachside road on Kamari Beach (beside Santorini Restaurant). She is among the most high-energy people we've ever met, and offered a catamaran tour at a very reasonable price. So we booked it, and here's what you can expect. First, we were not required to put up any money up front. Irene got our WhatsApp info and found a taxi pickup location very near our hotel. She kept us informed with pickup time the night before. The taxi was an 8 person van, and 3 other couples got on there as well. The Catamaran port is about a 20 minute drive from Kamari, so we felt the $5/ each way transport fee was very reasonable, and it allowed us to visit with other couples and get some travel tips from those whom had been in Santorini longer than us. We were picked up at 9am, and after transport/registration etc, the Catamaran set sail around 10. When we got to the dock, Irene arrived shortly thereafter and organized 2 separate tours. We liked the fact that our tour was a smaller boat with fewer people. Only 16 on ours, which I recall her saying was the amount they like to cap it (ie, the other boat only had 10 people). Payment is due at that point. We paid cash, but I believe they also accept card payment. The trip included soft drinks, wine and lunch. For an extra $10/per person, you can get unlimited beer. The lunch was great. Grilled chicken, pasta, greek salad, bread, tzakiki and hummous. You stop 3 times for a swim, and the Santorini coastline is beautiful, and includes great views a red sand beach, a white sand beach and a black sand beach. There are 3 crew on the boat to serve you throughout your trip, and they did a great job. After the van returned us back to Kamari Beach, we were walking to dinner and ran into Irene again at her beachside location. She honestly appears to work around the clock, and we found out she speaks 16 languages. Quite a pleasure dealing with her and Ippokampos Sailing. Would definitely book with her again if we return to Santorini.
We had the most beautiful sunset cruise on the catamaran! This was my second trip with this company and I’ll go every time I’m back on Santorini! They are the most lovely people in the world! I had so much fun and enjoyed the amazing music, atmosphere and food. And I got to see so much of Santorini from the water. Irene and Valentine are the most lovely people and they will make you feel like family from the moment you meet them. Please don’t hesitate to book this cruise, you won’t be disappointed! Can’t wait to be back🌺
