Very pleasant experience! From booking to completion Jessie was very attentive and knowledgeable. He provided great insight and recommendations throughout and helped make the experience memorable. I would do it again.

This was an exceptionally well curated professional experience, we were so glad to have found Jessie during our search for a private guide and translator to the highlands region of Jalisco! We can’t rave about his knowledge and especially the ability to communicate the process and principles of making tequila. He’s also very proficient at explaining the industry in general, which added to our overall understanding of how tequilas have evolved in the region. Perfectly fluent in English which can be necessary at the distilleries. The tour was mapped out well in advance, with our ideas of what we wanted to see, he made great suggestions, knew the route well, his follow up was perfect throughout our planning stage and the price was more than fair for all he arranged for us. He knows the tequila makers, made the right, introductions and was able to explain very technical details brilliantly. We plan to have a stop for lunch in between but found the tours so engrossing in learning that we just stopped at a perfect spot after our scheduled tours on the way home to continue the conversations. He arrived on time and drove us from place to place with a beautiful commentary on what we were there to learn along the way. From 9 am-6 or 7 pm we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I liked that the private tour gave options about which artisanal distilleries I could visit. My guide, Jessie, spoke good English and was knowledgeable about tequila and its history. I recommend going to Forteleza to taste tequila made the old way, using a tohono to crush the agave. Different flavors come out and you get to taste them in a cave! And you can get fish tacos afterward on the beautiful Sauza property below the volcano, so I skipped the restaurant included in the tour because I was with a fun group. Jessie was flexible and then we went to Cascuin distillery where he had worked so he led the tour and tasting there. I recommend this tour if you want artisanal tequila.

Had an amazing trip from beginning to end. Jessie was a great tour guide who is very knowledgeable about tequila and all other agave spirits. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely use him next time we travel to guadalajara.

This trip was amazing. I really enjoyed the personalized experience. There were four of us that traveled from the US and our first time in Guadalajara and Tequila. Our Driver and your guide was Jessie. His English was flawless. He’s a knowledgeable and safe driver. H stooped for us along the way as we needed. Thank you Jessie Orozco for a great adventure.

It was an amazing experience and he made the tour so much fun and it was 17 wild girls on a bachelorette party so he also had patience. His english was perfect we spoke spaneligh so it was helpful for him tu understand us .

Both distilleries were awesome. Edgar was an excellent host. He spoke perfect English and Spanish and was very flexible to our needs. Lunch was great and the town of Tequila was a nice was to wrap up the day.

Our guide Jesse spoke excellent English and made the tour both fun and informative. We were able to see the family owned distillery in full swing from loading the piñas into the ovens, tasting the cooked agave and watching the small batch distillation. Tasting was done in a lovely garden setting. We had lunch in the town of Tequila, including a colorful plaza and an indigenous dance performance.
