We booked this half-day excursion because we were traveling with our family and wanted to see more of Corfu without spending the entire day away from the ship. The timing worked really well for us. Paleokastritsa was definitely the highlight. The scenery around the village and coastline was beautiful, and we had enough time to enjoy the area without feeling like we were constantly rushing.
We also chose to do the optional boat ride into the caves, which was a fun addition for our family. Seeing the coastline and caves from the water gave us a completely different perspective. Afterward, we continued toward Corfu Town and enjoyed walking around the smaller streets and taking in the atmosphere.
The transportation was comfortable, and the pickup and return arrangements were convenient for cruise passengers. Having the excursion organized around the ship's schedule made the day much easier. Our guide was friendly and gave us useful information about the places we were seeing without overwhelming us with too many facts.
For a first visit to Corfu, this was a really enjoyable way to get an introduction to the island.

Two Quite Different Places In One Trip?
Both Paleokastritsa and Old town were the highlights of our tour. I think this tour works well whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends or as a family because there's a bit of everything. Only one thing could be improved that'll be time allocation, having a bit more free time will be appreciated.

A Fun Afternoon With the Whole Family
We were traveling with our children and were slightly concerned about choosing an excursion that might involve too much walking or too much time in the vehicle. Thankfully, the balance was quite good.
The journey to Paleokastritsa was enjoyable because there was always something interesting to see along the way. Once there, the family had time to look around, enjoy the coastal views, and take plenty of pictures. The children particularly enjoyed the optional boat ride into the caves. Being on the water was a nice change from sightseeing by road.
Corfu Town was a different experience and gave us the chance to walk through the narrow streets and see another side of the island. We didn't feel pressured to spend too long in one place.
The transportation was comfortable, which mattered with the children, and the pickup and return arrangements near the cruise ship were straightforward. Our guide was patient and helpful, especially when we had questions.
It was a pleasant way to spend a cruise stop and gave our family a combination of beaches, coastline, caves, and historic streets without making the day exhausting.

Efficient Use of Port Time
I had limited time during the cruise stop and wanted to make good use of it without choosing an itinerary that felt overly packed. This excursion provided a practical combination of Corfu Town sightseeing and some time to relax at the beach. Transportation was comfortable, and the guide was professional, friendly, and communicated clearly in English. The information about Corfu Town was useful and gave me a better understanding of the area without taking up too much time. I particularly liked having a beach break afterward because it provided a quieter part of the day. The schedule was also handled with the cruise departure in mind, which was important for me. Overall, it was a well-balanced way to experience some of Corfu during a relatively short port visit without feeling like I was constantly watching the clock.

Easy Way to See More of Corfu
As a solo traveler, I wanted an excursion that would make it easy to see some of Corfu without having to arrange transportation and timing myself. The pickup and transportation were straightforward, and the vehicle was comfortable during the trip. The guide spoke English well and was helpful when I had questions about the places we visited. Corfu Town was definitely worth seeing, and I enjoyed having someone provide context about the streets and historic areas. The beach break afterward gave me some time to explore at my own pace and simply relax. I also appreciated the focus on getting cruise passengers back to the ship on time. That's always something I think about when choosing an excursion. The 24/7 customer support was another reassuring feature when booking and planning the day.

Culture First, Relaxation Later
We liked the structure of this excursion because it allowed us to experience two different sides of Corfu. Spending time in Corfu Town gave us the chance to see the historic side of the island, while the beach break provided a much more relaxed atmosphere afterward. Our guide was friendly and spoke English clearly, and we appreciated the explanations about the places we passed and visited. The transportation was comfortable and made getting between the different parts of the excursion simple. As cruise passengers, we were also very conscious of the departure time, so knowing the itinerary was designed around returning to the ship on schedule was reassuring. We didn't feel like we had to organize anything ourselves. It was a comfortable day with enough sightseeing to feel worthwhile and enough free time to actually enjoy being in Corfu.

History and Beach Time
Our family enjoyed having two very different parts to the day. The first part gave us the opportunity to explore Corfu Town and learn about the island from a fully licensed English-speaking guide. The children were able to stay interested because the guide explained things in a conversational way rather than making everything too formal. After walking around town, the beach break was a welcome change. Everyone had time to relax, and the kids especially enjoyed being able to spend some time near the water. The transportation between locations was comfortable, which was important because of the warm weather. We also felt reassured by the way the return schedule was handled. With a cruise ship waiting at the port, getting back on time was a priority for our family. It was a nice combination of cultural sightseeing and downtime.

Great Memories with Good Friends
Our group had an amazing time from beginning to end. We spent part of the day swimming and relaxing near the beach before moving on to explore the old part of town. Walking through the narrow streets was one of my favorite moments because every corner seemed to have something different to see. The fortress offered beautiful panoramic views and plenty of places for photos. We stopped for seafood along the way, and everyone agreed it was one of the better meals during our cruise. The guide was easygoing and answered all our random questions. It was a balanced day with nature, history, and enough free time to enjoy everything.

Efficient, Scenic, and Worthwhile
During a cruise focused largely on work-related activities, I wanted to make the most of my limited free time ashore. This excursion provided an excellent overview of Corfu without requiring extensive planning on my part.
Paleokastritsa offered beautiful views and a calm atmosphere, while Corfu Town showcased the island's cultural and historical character. The beach break was a pleasant addition that allowed everyone to unwind before returning to the port.
The timing was well managed, and the guide kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. It was an enjoyable and efficient way to experience Corfu during a short visit.
