Prompt pickup at the cruise port. The tour guide spoke excellent English and knew the history of Gdansk. We walked through the old town where she talked about the architecture and events that occurred in the war. Very informative

Emil was a fabulous tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the region and the buildings in old town. He was an excellent tour guide and spoke perfect English. I would highly recommend this tour around Riga and especially Emil!

Richard/Richard was fantastic. His command of the history of Rigor was so clear, funny as appropriate and with depth our group enjoyed. He was engaging with the small group and easily handled our questions .

We had a great tour with Emils today. Coming from the U.S., it was very happy to understand his well spoken English. His personality showed in his knowledge and family ties to Riga. He hit all the big spots we were looking for and had time to stop for a local treat. I would definitely recommend him to anyone locong for a tour from a local's perspective.

Amazing tour of Riga to learn about the history and culture as well as a couple personal stories from the tour guide that really put things into perspective. Beautiful town, perfect length of time to still allow for a bit of free time.

Our Deluxe Riga tour by JAT Riga was absolutely incredible! From the first moment, we knew Emil was going to be fantastic. He picked us up from the cruise port, which was a pleasant surprise :) His English is flawless, and he's incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He answered all our questions, took us to his secret favorite spots, and even treated us to delicious local snacks. With a small, close-knit group, our experience felt warm and personal. Emils is not only a great guide but also a fun, witty, great conversationalist, and intelligent person. We've made a new friend in Riga and can't wait to return! Thanks so much, Emils! We did not receive the email from the tour company saying the tour start time had been moved from 9:30 to 9:00 so we were that couple that held up the tour for 30 minutes. Not a good start , but our guide Emil was the best. THE BEST. We had a very nice tour. Highly recommend it. If you get Emil you’ve hit the jackpot.

Emils provided us with lots of interesting historical and cultural information about Latvia. The walking was easy, as Latvia is very flat, but you do need to watchful on the cobblestones. Afterwards we had extra time to explore the old town before walking back to our ship.

Tour was wonderful and our guide was one of the best. Loved Riga and the depth of our guide’s knowledge plus his sense of humor made our day very enjoyable.
