Beach Club was extremely nice, clean and with good food. Our guide Elsa was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Breaking up the day between the beach experience and town experience is the way to do it.

The tour was very well organized. Both the guide and the bus driver were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. This was our favorite trip. We loved this tour and Mykonos. Can’t wait to go back.

We had such a wonderful day in Mykonos with our family. The experience was very well balanced because we got to enjoy both a relaxing beach afternoon and some time exploring Mykonos Town. Elia Beach was absolutely beautiful, and having time to swim, relax, and simply enjoy the scenery was exactly what we needed after being on the ship. The kids had fun in the water while we were able to slow down and enjoy the sunshine. After the beach, visiting Mykonos Town was a completely different experience. We loved walking through the narrow whitewashed streets, seeing the little shops, and stopping to take pictures near the windmills. What made the day especially enjoyable was that we never felt rushed. Everything felt comfortable and organized, which is important when traveling with a family and having a ship departure to keep in mind. A very enjoyable day from beginning to end.

My sister and I were 45 minutes early to the meeting place and someone from viator called asking where we were. The tour company on our paperwork did not match the company viator sent. After connecting with the group and getting on the bus, our English tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We arrived at Elia beach. Nice beach but pebbles to enter the water not sand. Upon arriving the tour guide explained the “beach keeper” will want 70 euros for an umbrella with two lounge chairs. Quite pricey for only a few hours. Or we could walk to an area of sand with many stones and use our towels which we did. The restaurant was decent and we enjoyed lunch there. We returned and went shopping in Mykonos on our own. Overall, I have to say for the money we spent you could just get a taxi and go on your own time much cheaper.

There were five of us traveling together, and this turned out to be a really fun way to spend our day in Mykonos. We liked that the itinerary didn't feel overly rigid. At Elia Beach, we had time to actually enjoy ourselves instead of arriving, taking one photo, and immediately moving on. We swam, relaxed, joked around, and enjoyed the scenery. Mykonos Town was another highlight. We walked through the famous narrow streets, stopped in a few shops, had coffee, and took group photos around the windmills. There was a nice balance between having some structure and still feeling like we were exploring independently. One thing we all agreed on afterward was how comfortable the transportation made the day. After the heat at the beach, getting into a cool vehicle was wonderful. Since we were cruise passengers, being able to enjoy the day without worrying about missing the ship was also a huge plus. We came back tired in the best possible way.

Out of many successful VIATOUR excursions, this was an epic fail! It was merely a $92 beach transfer…said to be at port at 9:15am and finally found onshore agent who stated we would not leave until 9:45am. Once on board, Costas was our driver, but no guide. Upon arrival at Elia beach, we were greeted by Elsa and resort staff. They explained we could rent a chair/umbrella for 70 euros, or 35 euros each, or go farther down beach for 25 euros each, no chair or umbrella, or sit on sand for free. We chose 35 euro chair and umbrella and they said sit anywhere. Two of our friends sat and were ready to pay when they were told to move immediately, that they sat in reserved for hotel guests only… Also upon departure from bus, we had no clue as to what time to return to bus for second part of tour, Town Stroll. Elsa went running to guests already looking for a space on beach stating 1pm be back at bus!! Once back on bus, Elsa escorted us to what turns out to be our ships port parking lot. Since we still had the Town Stroll, we stayed on bus. Costas the driver came on the bus and said “get off my bus!!!” We called for Elsa and said where was the rest of our tour? She said the Town Stroll starts here…you have to walk to town! Which was NOT a short walk over and back at 2pm in the hot sun! We chose to just get back on our ship and forego shopping. I understand when she said be back on bus at 4:15pm that must have been for ships parked at other ports. Costas was rude, no clear communications on behalf of tour guide. We could have taken a taxi to beach for less or public bus for 3 euros! Needless to say I kept our 30 euro tip intended for driver and guide. I will not give up on VIATOUR because of the local tour operator, but must share disappointment with this tour so others don’t waste money! I wish I could get a refund as 5 of us were very disappointed!

The beach was gorgeous and so was Old Town! Our guide Elsa directed us to a delicious lunch spot, Kavos, and was super friendly!

Leave time for old Town Mykonos - If you have lunch - it won’t leave a lot time to shop & go to windmills

My partner and I wanted to experience Mykonos without turning our day into a checklist of attractions, and this worked perfectly for us. Elia Beach was the highlight. It was beautiful, peaceful, and gave us the chance to simply slow down for a while. We swam, sat in the sun, enjoyed the views, and took our time rather than constantly checking the schedule. The afternoon in Mykonos Town was lovely as well. Walking through the white buildings and little alleys felt very different from the beach, and we enjoyed browsing the shops and stopping for Greek coffee. The windmills were, of course, a must for photos. We also appreciated how smoothly the transportation worked. Since we were visiting from a cruise ship, getting back on time was always somewhere in the back of our minds, but the whole day felt reassuringly organized. It was a great combination of relaxation and sightseeing without feeling exhausting.

We were a little unsure whether we could keep everyone happy during one day in Mykonos, but this experience managed to do exactly that. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere, while the children were very happy to have time at the beach. Elia was stunning, and we enjoyed swimming and spending time together without feeling like we had to rush off immediately. Once we left the beach, the atmosphere changed completely in Mykonos Town. The winding streets, white buildings, colorful details, and little stores were fun to explore as a family. We took plenty of pictures and enjoyed finding small places that we probably would have missed if we had simply stayed near the main tourist areas. The organization throughout the day made everything easier. Knowing that our return transportation was being handled allowed us to enjoy ourselves instead of constantly worrying about getting back to the ship. A very pleasant and memorable family outing.
