i found this 6 hour tour, to be a 4 hour flea market tour.. our tour guide did very well at being a salesperson and why we should buy pottery and olive oil. the tour spent very little time in the old city and i could have accomplished that on my own by just walking off the ship.

We do not have any flea markets here, but we do have some of the most impressive archaeological and historical sights in Greece — Lindos and the UNESCO-listed Medieval City of Rhodes. The tour itinerary was delivered exactly as advertised. Walking from the ship to Lindos would take a good walker approximately 12 hours each way, so before recommending this option to fellow cruisers, perhaps it would be worth trying it yourself first. Well, tastes and cultural standards certainly differ, and your feedback speaks for itself.

Excellent group tour in Rhodes
We booked the Rhodes group tour with our family. Loanna was our tour guide. The bus was very comfortable for the long ride to/from Lindos. While it was extremely hot outside, we enjoyed exploring Lindos and Old Town. Loanna was wonderful -- she provided so much history of Rhodes mixed with some good humor. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour
Our tour guide was exceptional. We went to lindos and Old Town. My friend did the 300 steps while I shopped. The town is beautiful. We also did the castle where people still live there and had lunch.
Then we went to the olive oil store and pottery store. Then we went to the old town and that was awesome. It's a long ride but well worth it. To get to lindos it's a steep walk down the hill but it is beautiful. The people in Greece are so friendly loved every minute of it.

A must do tour
I was picked up from my hotel promptly. The guide and driver were very welcoming and friendly. Everywhere we were shown was incredible, the guide very knowledgeable, no question went unanswered! Plenty of time was given to fully enjoy and immerse in the experience and then I was dropped back at my hotel. I had the most amazing day as a solo traveller, learned so much and have plenty of beautiful photos and memories to keep. Would definitely recommend, it is a must do tour!

A great tour. With a great tour leader.
We enjoyed the Lindos area but really liked the fort area near the ship. The tour guide, Iona, was informative and a great story teller. I recommend this tour. The 1 hour trip to Lindos and back is a bit far but if you want to experience Lindos, it is the only way.

Unexpected beauty

Rhodes and Lindos
Enjoyed this tour. Was not aware that it was almost an hour to reach Lindos. We stopped at a pottery shop along the way that was very unique! We didn’t spend much time in Lindos which was unfortunate. I would return there if I had more time.
We returned to the gated city of Rhodes and enjoyed a wine tasting. The gated city was very quaint and relaxing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was an easy pick up from the port.

A great overview of Rhodes
Included varying activities which was great. A little of everything. History, local culture, local agriculture, and free time. Our guide was knowledgeable, well prepared, and considerate of our needs.

Private day tour of Anataya
We had a lovely private day tour of the area with Yusuf visiting several highlights including beaches, upper and lower waterfalls and tour of the old town and ancient port area. The historical aspects are fascinating.
