super cool experience, the guide was super awesome.
The tour was really great; we now see the city and artworks from a different perspective. Our guide Maike provided so many exciting pieces of information about the art on the streets.
Matthias took us into the world of street art in a very friendly and competent manner! Great experience, thank you very much!
The tour conveyed the facets of street art very well to the visitors. Various masters of street art were highlighted, and the techniques were explained wonderfully. I simply walked past many of the works in the past without noticing them. In the future, I will walk through the city with a completely different perspective and much more knowledge about street art. The city guide had a great deal of expertise and was able to convey it very well to the participants. I can highly recommend the tour.
We did the Street Art Tour in Berlin yesterday and were absolutely disappointed! No background information, neither about the pictures, nor about the artists or what they want to print. The guide was mostly on the road with Google Maps himself, sometimes seemed planless and disoriented. Even the pictures, where one could draw conclusions about what they are supposed to mean, have been misinterpreted (In the Haus / Hof Schwarzenberg is made aware of trafficked persons in Colombia. The guide was talking about Mexico. The painting by Anne Frank was freely interpreted as "Why the artist painted her smiling is unclear. Probably it should mean that even in difficult times there is always hope." The photo, which the artwork was modelled on, hung next to it - with a smiling Anne Frank.). The tour ended at the RAW site with a short stop at Halle's Gate. At both stops a few pictures were briefly shown, that was it. Considering the otherwise very positive reviews, we may have just had absolute bad luck with our guide (perhaps just a substitute?), but so we really can't recommend this! For us it was was wasted money and wasted time!
Great tour to street art and graffiti with Leon von Berlin Walks-Tour! Leon is a great guide and has introduced us to the different artists and artworks with a lot of enthusiasm and great knowledge! I highly recommend Leon as a guide! I'm sure we'll do another tour with him!
Very eyeopening and interesting tour
This tour was a real treat and Ania was the perfect guide! There's lots of street art in Berlin that you can discover by yourself, but it's so much better when you have a knowledgeable guide with lots of stories about the artists and the art world. I now know to look around, up and down and be surprised by different art pieces around the city. A truly inspirational tour, I highly recommend it!
Amanda did a great job on our tour today! She was knowledgeable about the artists and pieces she took us to see. She had a lot of useful insights and provoked conversation/discussions on the street art. Definitely recommend the tour to see a different side of Berlin!
Exciting tour with lots of background information about the artworks and the artists. The tour ends at the EastSideGallery, so if you have time and energy you also can add this 3km walk to your tour. Great!
