Arthur knows a lot and is a great guide and funny man. But we thought it was a little bit too expensive for what we got.

A fun and informative tour of the macabre. Our guide was amazing, funny, and a great story teller. The bus is creepy-cool; the special effects added to the atmosphere.

Better than expected. Arthur passionately packed each stop with stories and details we would have never gotten out of a guidebook. Just enough time at each pub for him to fill in the gaps, talk about the pub ghosts and finish a drink. Small group made the whole thing manageable.

This was an amazing haunted pub tour with history woven throughout. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking a fair amount. Our tour guide Arthur was very knowledgeable; some of the history and ghosts are from a darker time in history. There were many little things that Arthur pointed out that we would have never seen / found on our own without his help - secret etchings under a random rug in a church and other fun little secrets (I won’t give them all away)! Really makes you appreciate having a tour guide who is so familiar with the area and seems to know everyone. Lots of great history and lore to learn.

What a great tour ! Arthur is just a wealth of knowledge ! Arthur showed us some wonderful places such as The Charterhouse and St Bartholomew's Church just to name a couple. Just loved the old pubs he took us to … such wonderful character … over an ale Arthur would tell us a spooky stor. I would recommend this tour if you like history, a spooky story and old pubs.

Do not miss this one. I was definitely taken in by the wealth of knowledge Arthur has, his general knowledge was second to none. They way he can tell a story with his delivery…. Just loved it. Don’t look at any other haunted/ghostly tour. This is the one.

This was a little weird for us because we were the only people on the tour. Neither one of us likes that much attention lol. Our guide was dramatic and fun and very knowledgeable. I think he also knew everyone we passed on the tour. We went to plenty of non-pub as well and we really enjoyed St Bartholomew Church.

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful time! So knowledgeable and entertaining! Fully recommend this tour!

Arthur is a very knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic guide. The whole tour and a pint of two as well was really enjoyable and I would definitely look forward to Arthur being my tour guide in the future!

Arthur was great guide and lovely person. You can tell how much he loves history and he is a great story teller. The tour wound up being a private tour as nobody else had booked which allowed I think more freedom to do some different things and also lots more conversation instead of just standard tour guide stuff. We learned so much - I actually wish I had taken notes!! And the tour was in a part of the city I had not been to which was nice to explore a new area. Arthur also generously took the time to give us a bunch of restaurant recommendations, share general societal history, and more. It was just an all around good time.
