Such an incredible experience! A magical horse ride through the snowy forest. A lovely family run business who were all so helpful and friendly, despite us being 15 mins late. My 6 year old daughter had some last minute nerves and decided she didn't want to do it but the staff was so reassuring and encouraging and she ended up loving it (as I knew she would). The Glogg and toasting marshmallows & gingerbread cookies in their kota was a perfect way to end the activity! We will definitely do it again if we come back!

A must-do at SCV
Just an incredible way to spend an hour and a bit - we rode through beautiful snowy forest and then returned with time to take photos with the horses and warm drinks and marshmallows in a hut - a must do and our seven year old thought it was fantastic. Note of caution - it’s at least a 10min walk from the main SCV area so build that in

Lovely ride in the snowy woodland on very safe horses
We turned up having not pre booked as we had other activities booked at SCV and didn’t know if we would have time. We were greeted and told to wait a short while and then we could go out riding! We didn’t expect to be able to go so soon, so this was great!
We were able to look at the horses in the fields and wait inside the office. The horses were all well cared for.
Our guide asked if we had experience and catered to our experience. We ended up being the only couple so this was lovely.
It was pretty riding through the snowy woodland. The Finnhorses were wonderfully safe, never spooked at a thing. Knew their job but had some go in them.
It was enjoyable but ensure you bring gloves as it gets chilly!

Magical
Beautiful and magical ride through the snow-capped trees of Lapland. Just the right length for the cold weather and to keep my children happy. Friendly, helpful people. Finished the ride with a hut warmed by a fire, marshmallows and watm drinks.

Beautiful snowy trail ride
This is a fun activity right next to Santa Claus Village. The horses were great - staff was super nice and the trail ride through the snowy woods was beautiful.

An absolutely stunning gem in Lapland
This was honestly the highlight of our trip , the stables is family run and the horses are well cared for and incredibly friendly for beginner riders, when we arrived we were told about Finn horses and then after we tacked up we had a wonderful trip through the forest trail which was covered in frost , absolutely magical, we were able to ask questions and learn all about this experience, afterwards when we arrived back at the stables we gave our horses a treat and then we got to sit down and have a warm drink and ginger biscuits. This is an activity I would definitely enjoy to do again.

Fabulous Horse Riding Experience
Thoroughly recommend this horse riding experience on Finnhorses. Had a fabulous ride through the forest with experienced & well looked after horses. A real treat.

I had so much fun I booked it again so I could do it a second time while I’m here, the staff were lovely, the horses were calm and adorable and the views were breathtaking
