I had a wonderful time with Salim and Francis, who helped me discover, for the first time in my life, the magic of the desert. Absolute calm, breathtaking landscapes, the history of these places that gets to you... Everything was incredible. The night will remain particularly etched in my memory: a sparkling moon, a sky filled with endless stars, and that unique feeling of being cut off from the world. An exceptional, human, and unforgettable experience. I am leaving with wonderful memories and one certainty: I will be back! A huge thank you to Salim and Francis for this magnificent discovery. 🌙✨

I booked the full-day jeep tour with an overnight camp under the stars with two of my friends. This was the highlight of our two-month holiday. Wadi Rum is such a spectacular place, and Salem is a wonderful guide. A few things worth noting about booking here: * The main camp isn’t along a main driving route through the desert, meaning you don’t have cars constantly driving past. * The main camp has a direct view of the sunset, which was beautiful. * Salem’s brother cooks a beautiful traditional Zarb for dinner, which is cooked underground. * Salem is the perfect tour guide — friendly, funny and full of knowledge. He takes you to some great spots throughout the desert and also cooks a delicious lunch. * The main camp has great facilities, including clean toilets, showers and rooms. The main dining tent is incredibly comfortable after a long day while still having great views of the sunset. I would strongly recommend choosing the camp under the stars option if you get the chance. Salem drives you further out into the desert, where you sleep around a fire, drink tea and stargaze with absolutely no light pollution. I found that a lot of tours didn’t offer this option, which I think is a shame considering how unique the experience is. Waking up to the sunrise while sleeping out in the open desert was one of the highlights of the trip. The blankets provided were warm, and the mattresses were surprisingly comfortable. Overall, this was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend Salem and his Wadi Rum tour.

We chose this experience and it was unforgettable, fantastic welcome and crazy visit to the Wadi Rum, we chose to sleep under the stars, a sky like this has no equal. The experience is truly authentic, pure immersion

I was alone but made to feel so welcome. The tents were way more comfortable than expected, the food was surprisingly delicious, it was all excellent value I thought. It's the furthest camp from the village so no disturbances at all. A grazing camel even wandered over! I loved the tour as well, even had lunch cooked in the shade of a hill. It's an amazing experience in every way. Thanks team!

It was one of the best experiences for me and my family. We started with a camel ride in the beautiful desert then checked out the canions and arcs, the nature is incredibly fascinating. The people, Salem the host and Francis, are amazing people that made this experience even better. We slept under the stars which was an unbelievable, with the most beautiful views. Would recommend 100%, It was an unforgettable experience.

I had an amazing experience doing an under the stars overnight stay and jeep tour with Salem. The Bedouin food and tea were excellent. And jeep tour in the morning was amazing too. Salem is very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Had an absolutely incredible time in the desert with Salem and his brothers. The camp was just as expected – very comfortable and really felt like you were out in the desert on your own, because you basically were! The stars were amazing, and had a perfect time laying out next to the fire just looking up at the night sky. The tour was great fun, and Salem was the perfect guide – accommodating all of our needs, and being very knowledgeable and lots of fun. The food was incredible and we couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Jordan, which is an all round amazing country with great people. Thank you for making it a once in a lifetime experience.

We spent a very beautiful and rewarding day in the desert of Wadi Rum with Salem, an attentive guide, patient and real wealth of information. He took us to 12 different spots, all interesting and varied. We also had the chance to share a generous lunch with his family, a warm moment during which we discussed and exchanged well. In the evening we spent the night in his camp. We were the only guests that day, which allowed us to spend a privileged time with Salem around dinner. The tent was comfortable, and even though the sky was overcast — depriving us of the sunset and stars — the experience remained memorable

I travelled to Jordan alone and Salim and Frances were soooo good at communicating all relevant information before my stay, alleviating any anxieties. Due to the quiet tourist period, related to people's anxieties about the Israeli war, I was the only guest at the camp and Salim and Frances were absolutely wonderful at making me feel so welcome and comfortable. I stayed overnight and had a 3hr jeep tour in the morning. It was honestly one of the best experiences I've had travelling. The environment was beautiful, the sights which Salim took me to were stunning and the service was overall great. Couldn't recommend enough.

The real Bedouin are serving it. Wadi Rum is divided into two areas: Protected area and Diseh. This will be the former. Discounts are available for stays of 2 nights or more. Restrooms and showers are communal. I especially recommend the OP "Sleeping under the stars". 15JD per person. It was great to sleep under the stars. I was able to see many shooting stars. All three meals were voluptuous and delicious. The most impressive thing is the birthday surprise. We were able to meet with them beforehand by email and it was a great success. My friend was quite happy. Please note that you will be approached by a variety of people at the Visitor Center, which is the entrance, but you must not speak to anyone. Fraud is rampant, scamming people out of money. If they talk to you, please ignore them at all. Also, there are no ATMs on site. You will need to have enough local currency in advance to pay in cash. English is understood without any problems, so I can recommend it to Japanese people. The staff are all friendly and will definitely be the best memories.
