First off, my tour was switched due to low reservations. I did go to the windmills but instead went to Toledo. It was 104 F and worth it. There was only 6 of us and Alex, our tour guide, was awesome. He told us stories and facts on history of both the windmills and Toledo. Having read Don Quixote when I was a teen, this was a dream come true! Amazing and more than I could have ever imagined. And if you really try , you can still smell the horses!!! AMAZING!!! Thank tou Alex for a dream of a tour!!!
A truly breathtaking view, it is an experience not to be missed. Even though the guide only spoke Spanish, he had an automatic translator that allowed him to understand us and vice versa. He was also accommodating, and we felt comfortable.

Our tour wasn’t full enough so they moved us to a tour with a different itinerary that included Toledo, but not the castle. The tour guides were gracious enough to drop us at the castle so we still got to experience it, but our time at the windmills were a bit rushed as a result since the rest of the group needed to get to the Toledo portion of their tour which included a lunch appointment. The guide and driver were incredible, but just know that you may not get to do exactly what you sign up for when booking this tour and we found out only about a week before so not much time to regroup and find a similar alternative.

Esto puede dificultar la reorganización de los grupos con antelación y puede dar lugar a ajustes de última hora. Dicho esto, nos alegra mucho saber que tanto el guía como el conductor le brindaron una excelente experiencia y agradecemos sinceramente su comprensión. Yesid was our tour guide, and he was so gracious, patience, and knowledgeable with the Book of Don Quijote. He's detail oriented of each of the Consuegra Windmills that it took me back to my high school days when I had to read the book, only this time I understood it much better with Yesid explanation. I recommend the tour 100%.

Outstanding service! The tour operator was in contact with me beforehand to make sure everything was okay. Pick up and drop off was one the great points. The tour person was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, took to a great place to have a snack, in Toledo recommend el Trébol for lunch.
