Easy process

My wife and I arrived late at night in Christchurch and Super Shuttle was cheaper than other alternatives and in the end a better option for us. When we came out of the airport, the shuttle bus was easy to find and there were a number of shuttle buses waiting. The driver was extremely polite and welcoming and delivered us straight to the hotel with no issues at all. I would highly recommend Super Shuttle, especially if you are arriving on a later flight. Super Shuttle takes the stress away of having to figure out how to get to your hotel.

Very happy with Christchurch Super Shuttle

We booked Super Shuttle Christchurch to take us from home to the Christchurch International Airport on 22/12/2025. There are a couple of things that impressed us with their service. We were advised they were running 5 minutes late to pick us up in good time. They arrived right on the revised time so a big plus to them for their communication and reliability. We booked online and found the booking was smooth and easy. We again used them when returning on 3/01/2026 with the same driver Damon. We hadn’t booked the return but Damon made an effort to fit us in with some other passengers. The big plus though for the return trip was; I left some duty free items in the van. I phoned Super Shuttle who contacted Damon. At no extra cost he delivered the items to my address I left in the in the van. We found the cost of the service most reasonable.

Nice staff, but service arrangement too chaotic

I booked a Super Shuttle from Auckland, but things were a bit messy. At first, I was told I was the only one booked for my slot, so they changed me to the next one. Since that would cause me to miss my flight, they promised to arrange a taxi and said they’d send me the vehicle details. I received two calls the night before confirming this plan. However, the next morning, there was still no taxi info, so I called the hotline — only to be told the taxi wasn’t coming and a shuttle would pick me up instead, because another passenger had booked the same time overnight. The hotline staff were reachable and nice, but the coordination was clearly disorganised. It all worked out in the end, but it caused unnecessary stress before my flight.

Never again. Three trips = three poor experiences.

Upon arrival in New Zealand things were looking good and the drivers found us quickly and were friendly. Once we got driving though it was clear our driver was very sick. He was coughing, snorting and sniffling constantly and lo and behold, I came down with the flu 3 days later. Can I be certain it was from him? No. But the timing is right and I don’t appreciate them letting him work while quite ill. Our second booking was a few days later to the Christchurch train station. They turned up 20 minutes early with other passengers already on board and tried to tell us that we changed the pick up time. We didn’t. He then said they sent an email. They didn’t. We rushed to get ready and felt bad for the passengers who had to wait but managed to be ready a bit earlier than we booked. The third trip was at night from the Christchurch train station back to the city. The driver was parked in the car park so we negotiated around all the other services that we coming and going from the car park area which was dangerous and unnecessary. Once we got going I could tell the driver didn’t have his headlights on so I told him. He played with the light switch and then assured me they were on. I could see in the reflection of the car in front the headlights were not on. I asked him to pull over so I could physically check. He refused until I repeated my request a further 3 times. Once he pulled over I got out and looked and it turned out the vehicle did not have functioning headlights. Only the high beam and parking lights worked. Both low beam bulbs were blown. THEY SENT A VEHICLE WITHOUT FUNCTIONING HEADLIGHTS TO PICK UP MY FAMILY AND I AT NIGHT!! The driver told me I could either drive with him without headlights or get out and work out my own way into the city. I demanded he either drive with high beams on or call another shuttle. He just said we were his last trip so either get out or let him finish the trip. It wasn’t until I told him to call his supervisor (which he did) and then they spoke to me on the phone that he agreed to drive the rest of the trip with his high beams on. When I asked why he thought it was ok to drive my family around in a defective vehicle he claimed to no longer speak English or understand anything I was saying. This was legitimately the only service we had issues with in New Zealand and I’ve had no follow up or apology from the company at all. I’m sure many trips go without incident but that seems to be more out of luck than anything planned by the company. They clearly don’t care about their customers welfare at all.

Good and friendly driver

The driver was friendly and arrived on time. The ride to the hotel was smooth and swift. He even helped with the luggage. Everything was good.

Use them again

The driver was on time, at the correct place, very helpful, friendly, and got us to the destination in a timely manner.

booked transfer - driver did not come

Arrived on a late flight and for that reason had booked transfer. My flight was delayed and when I got out no driver was waiting for me and I had to take a Taxi.

Airport transfer

Transfer to hotel was fine, driver was nice. Just note they were not waiting in the airport with a sign as it states with our name and we had to go to look for them outside.

Great experience!

The shuttle was there waiting when I got off my flight and it was a straightforward trip to my hotel. The driver was absolutely lovely and came back and returned my phone when I left it behind in the van. Thanks! Super grateful! Highly recommend 👍😁

Bit confused!

The driver was not familiar with this booking company, I showed him my booking details & sent us to another part of the air port, we were sent back to driver who checked his list & our names were on it.
