I had such a wonderful time! We had a lot of delicious food while exploring different parts of Kathmandu, which I wouldn't have explored otherwise. The guide, Shazia, told us a lot about Nepali food and culture. Highly recommended ;)
I had the opportunity to visit eateries I would never have discovered in my own. My guide Fahid was provided detailed explanation of foods and it was delicious. Highly recommend
This food tour was amazing! We went places that we never would have found on our own and tried things that would have been outside of our normal ordering. The food was delicious and a good mix of sweet and savory, and perfect spice level. We were so full by the end!! Our guide was very nice and took care of everything.
This was such a great way to explore Kathmandu, learn about some of the history & way of life and also enjoy some of the delicious Nepalese dishes. Fahid was my guide and he was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, helpful and enthusiastic. I got to try places I would have missed if it wasn’t for the local knowledge and also tried dishes that I would not normally. Thanks for your time Fahid!
This is a do-not-miss tour if you love to discover local food and hidden gems. Fahid our guide was terrific! The food we tried was delicious (arrive hungry!) and we would have never found these places without Fahid. This was one of my favorite things we did while in Nepal...highly recommended.
We did this tour with fahid, he was very knowledgeable, polite and funny (even though he thought we were 60 when we’re 50!!!!!!) the places he took us to we would never have come across and was delicious- highly recommended
We wanted to do a tour to explore the non-touristic spots of Kathmandu, spots we would normally not find. And wow, did Fahid make it happen! Overall: very local, great food, interesting background stories, and amazing guidance by Fahid. Definitely recommend!
Fahid was such a good guide! He was very patient and friendly, and we went to places where the locals go. The only place I did not like that much was the first place, but all the other places had delicious food and they were packed with locals. I would definitely recommend this activity, not only for the food, but also for the interesting places I saw while we were walking from one place to the other.
The food in the back alleys were amazing! Cleanliness was good. Recommend bringing wet wipes or hand sanitizer though, as foods can be sticky.
A very thoughtfully conceived tour which leads into hidden alleyways, to food stands without any signs, where you habe wondrous concoctions made from animal innards as well as more convenionally palatable food. Many cultural insights to be gained, highly recommended!
