Excellent and memorable excursion! Prompt and helpful guide. The beautiful Botanical gardens offered a wealth of amazing knowledge about flora. Cooled off later in the refreshing and scenic waterfall after the adventurous ATV ride. Fantastic lunch to finish. Highly recommend.
The Aburi Gardens, Quadbiking and Waterfalls Tour with Ruby was absolutely awesome and one of the best experiences I’ve had in Ghana so far. This tour had the perfect mix of relaxation, scenery, adventure, and fun all in one day. We started with the beautiful Aburi Botanical Gardens, which were peaceful, scenic, and full of amazing photo opportunities. Ruby gave great insight along the way and made the visit enjoyable and informative. Next came the quadbiking in Adukrom, and that was an adrenaline rush! Riding through the area with incredible views was exciting and something I’ll remember for a long time. Then we went to the Asenema Waterfalls, which were stunning. The short walk to the falls was easy, and standing near the water was refreshing and magical. If you want to get under the falls, definitely bring swimwear—it’s worth it! What truly made this tour special was Ruby. She was organized, professional, friendly, and made the entire day smooth from pickup to drop-off. Her energy and hospitality made me feel comfortable the whole time. If you’re visiting Accra or Ghana and want a full day of nature and adventure, book this tour immediately. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience. 5 stars all the way — amazing host, amazing locations, amazing memories!
My sisters and I booked this tour together and it exceeded our expectations! We learned so much at the Botanical Gardens and the grounds were beautiful. We had an awesome time riding the ATVs, and the waterfall was absolutely amazing! We practically did a whole photoshoot at the waterfall. Lol And I can’t say enough wonderful things about Prince. He is quite literally the BEST Tour Guide in Accra! ☺️ He is so personable, friendly, caring, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. Everything you want and need in a tour guide. Whatever you need — he’s got you… and he’s going to make sure you enjoy every minute of your experience! We had such an amazing time, we booked with them for 2 additional tours — and personally requested Prince. Don’t think twice about booking! You won’t regret it!
My experience with this tour was exceptionally great. It started off with our tour guide Prince, who gave a brief description of each part of the tour. We made stops at the Asenema waterfalls, Aburi Botanical Gardens, paintbal target practice and the highlights of the tour the Quad biking. In each step of the way it was fun, educational and exciting. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, you will not waste your money neither will you regret it.
Great experience. Prince who was my tour guide was great and extremely attentive. Highly recommend and will use again when I visit Ghana again.
Prince was an amazing guide. Ruby was so easy to work with and communication was thorough! Highly recommend booking with them for all tours in Ghana
Everything went well as promised. Any questions I had were promptly answered. I will definitely work with this team again.
Prince was the BEST. He was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive to my needs. He went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed the excursion. At the end, he took me to a delightful restaurant. Over all the excursion was the greatest way to get introduced Ghana.
This was a great day trip for getting outside of Accra's metropolitan scene to see some of Ghana's natural beauty. Our driver Nana Kofi was good. He wasn't much of a talker, but he was kind, accommodating, professional, and got us to and from our destination safely. Our guides at each stop were also very professional and gave great information about all of the sites. Some even had great photography skills (shout out to the waterfall guide)! The Botanical Garden was a nice stop to learn about the different flora native to the land. You see some of these same trees and plants just driving or walking by in your day and may not know what you're looking if you weren't from Ghana. Of course, there were things that you could only see there, like the Tree of Life and the remains of Ghana's first helicopter. Adukrom was a fun stop for some outdoor activities, like quad biking literally off the beaten path in the mountains. You'll notice some really pretty flowers and butterflies if you take time to stop for a bit and admire them. We even had a surprise target practice session with paintball rifles when we got back from 4-wheeling. Last but not least was Asenema Waterfalls. After a quick 5 minute or so walk from the parking area to the falls, you get there and can either sit and admire the waterfall or walk in. It rained right when we got there but that didn't stop us from getting in the water. I was amazed at how warm the water pouring down from the waterfall was! It was warmer than the rain. Just standing under the falling water for a bit was a really nice, gentle massage. Use caution while walking on the rocks as you approach and leave from the waterfall area if it is raining or the ground is wet from rain, especially if you walk up the hill to the restrooms. It gets really slippery, so tread carefully. Same rules apply in the basin of the waterfall. The basin water is shallow, ranging from your shins at the shallow points to your thighs at the highest points, but it is murky from the mud so you cannot tell where the ground will rise and fall, and some of the rocks underneath that can be slippery. Take slow, steady steps in the basin of the falls. On the way back from the Falls, driving through the towns, you catch occasional views of the landscape and the hills and valleys in the distance. Be mindful that this trip has a moderate amount of driving to your destinations, but it was nice to see the landscape and the vibrant towns that we passed through on the way to our destinations and back --flocks of motorcycle taxis, people walking, stoplight street vendors, chaotic city traffic, and children playing and walking from school. Really nice escape from the city for the day!
The Experience was Good! The Tour guide Prince. Who made sure we had everything we needed was Great! His knowledge of Ghana and his conversation was wonderful. We learned a lot about the Botanical Gardens w/ all there Medical plants on the property; which is also a Nature Reserve. We took lots of pictures. 📸 The ATV was kool to drive through some over-grown areas but the best part of the ATV in my opinion was the scenic views. After, we did some Paint Ball, target practice, #SharpShooters 🎯 Then we finished our day at a Nice restaurant. I would recommend this Tour to anyone; great. Vibe & Experience. 👍🏾 Last but not least, Waterfalls.. My Wofe took several pictures and it was surreal.
