We had such a lovely evening with Wissal! We cooked and feasted on great food, learned all about Moroccan spices and most importantly learned so much about the Moroccan culture even dressing in local style clothing. Wissal is a wonderful host who shared so much about life for young women in Morroco. Even though we could have been her grandparents we connected with her. There were no language barriers as she spoke fluent English and she was also interested in our backgrounds. Ten out of ten for us!

If you do just one unique thing when visiting Morocco, this is the thing to do! Wissal is such an impressive young lady, and her cooking class is amazing! She welcomes you into her home and her life, personalizes the menu to match your preferences, and guides you through each step of the cooking process. Spending time talking with her about her culture, customs, cooking, and more, is just as much part of the experience as the cooking itself. And the food was delicious! It was just my husband, me, and Wissal. We felt as though we were at a friend's house, helping make dinner. This is a great event for a couple, or a few friends. If you want a personal, unique, fun, and delicious memory of Morocco, this is the activity to do!

The experience was perfect and it far exceeded our expectations. It was a well thought out interactive cultural experience. Unlike other cooking classes where everyone prepares their own dish, we all did our part in making a delicious MEAL. Would do it again!

Meeting and cooking class simply perfect in the company of Wissal. She knew how to explain the different preparation steps of these delicious tagines to us while having us participate. Preparing mint tea and trying on traditional outfits also happened very naturally and in good spirits. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with Wissal in her beautifully decorated Moroccan home. For starters, we enjoyed Moroccan coffee. She instructed us on preparing her mother’s tagine recipe. We took a break while the tagine cooked and enjoyed mint tea and cookies. We also prepared 2 salads and virgin Mojitos, All were delicious. We had great fun dressing up like a local. The best part was sharing stories about each others’ lives and cultures. Wissal was a lovely, congenial hostess. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! Wissal was an incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional host. From the moment we arrived at her beautiful home, we were greeted with open arms and made to feel completely at home. The cooking experience was wonderful and very approachable. The recipes were easy to follow, and we had the opportunity to make a traditional Moroccan tanjia. We also enjoyed delicious Moroccan tea and coffee, which made the experience feel even more authentic and special. What we loved most was the warm, personal atmosphere. It felt like we were being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than simply attending a tour. Wissal was so kind and made the entire experience enjoyable for everyone. We would highly recommend this tour to families looking for an authentic, welcoming, and memorable Moroccan experience. It was a highlight of our trip!

An absolutely wonderful cooking experience! What made it truly special was how personalized and welcoming it felt from start to finish. Wissal was an amazing and very friendly host! She was a great instructor who made the cooking process easy and fun. I went with a friend who was visually impaired and she was incredibly accommodating to our accessible needs. We learned a lot about Casablanca, as well as Moroccan culture and history in general. We made tagine and mrouzia. The food was fantastic and these were the two best dishes we had in our stay at Casablanca. Wissal also arranged for transport from our hotel to the class which made the process very convenient. We didn't know what to expect when walking into the class but it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. I could not recommend Wissal's class more highly! If you're going to Casablanca, you must take Wissal's class!

I had an incredible experience with Wissal and her family! She made me feel very comfortable and welcome in her home. She taught me how to prepare the traditional dishes and drinks which were surprisingly simple but packed with delicious flavor. I can’t wait to make them for my friends at home. The best part was the insightful conversation where we learned about each other’s culture and lifestyles living in different countries. I would definitely recommend to visitors and groups, especially for women travelers.
