レイクルイーズは、カナダのアルバータ州にあるバンフ国立公園内の氷河湖です。この水の名前は、ヴィクトリア女王の四女であり、1878 年から 1883 年までカナダ総督を務めたローン侯爵の妻であるルイーズ キャロライン アルバータ王女にちなんで名付けられました。水のターコイズ色は、川に運ばれた岩粉によるものです。湖を見下ろす氷河からの融解水によって湖が形成されます。湖の面積は 0.8 km² で、長さ 3 km のルイーズ クリークを通ってボウ川に流れ込みます。モレーン湖とアグネス湖にはルイーズ湖からもアクセスできます。

I booked this tour because I read the reviews and people recommended the tour drivers for giving excellent information on the area. I expected a history of the lakes and other information. The tour guide was just silent. I may as well have got the shuttle bus.

We had a great experience on the Lake Louise and Moraine Lake tour! Shaun, our operator guide, was super friendly, professional, and made the experience enjoyable. The tour was well organized, and we really enjoyed getting to see both beautiful locations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this experience to others!

Please advise your future customers with this critical information. 1. If they need to park their car they should find their own parking. It is not free and the fee is not included in the ticket price. We paid CAD $30 for the parking! It took 45 minutes to find a parking spot. 2. The Mount Royal Hotel pick up spot should be clearly mentioned as: Pickup sopt will be in the bus parking lot behind the hotel outside the boundary of the hotel and not in front or at the back of the hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and polite but has no exact knowledge of these details. 3. Mount Royal Hotel has no parking permitted for the tour customers. The hotel also has no guest washrooms. 3. The tour van was in poor maintenance condition with chair arm rests missing for many chairs and the AC unit was super noisy! There is no place to store any items (either overhead or seat areas)(for water bottles, jackets, back packs etc). Everthing is kept in your lap! 4. The tour guide Tony was very friendly , cheerful and helpful and deserves 5 stars. Keep in mind that he is only the driver but not a real guide to narrate anything! You do your own research
Such an easy and stress-free way to see both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise! We had about 80 minutes at each stop, which honestly felt like the perfect amount of time to walk around, take photos, enjoy the views, and explore without feeling too rushed. Our guide was super chill, really nice and sweet, and very efficient with timing. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and the tour van was also really clean and comfortable. One thing I definitely want to mention: BE ON TIME! The schedule matters, especially when you’re visiting two major spots in one tour. If you’re late, you may get left behind, so don’t expect the entire group to wait. I actually really appreciated that they respected the people who showed up on time and kept the tour moving as scheduled. Overall, this was such a convenient and well-organized way to experience Moraine Lake and Lake Louise without having to stress about transportation or parking. Definitely recommend! 🏔️🩵
