Very engaging, helpful and fun. We had multiple staff onsite the day we went and my two kids age 9 and 11 really enjoyed leaning from them. Excellent English speakers and just a cool time.

A great experience for an introduction to origami for families couples or an individual. We thoroughly enjoyed our workshop with David who was very patient and enthusiastic.

David was a patient teacher. mom and I had a great time choosing our origami to make. made 3 pieces each. small pad showing you steps that you can replay. my mom made a dress and asked if a belt could be added, David came to the fashion rescue and helped make obe. turned out great. studio is beautiful. had a great time!!!

A perfect opportunity to learn the basics of origami. The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff were amazing. A definite for families.

What a fun experience! We have been trying to do Japanese cultural activities during our visit and this one fit to bill! We were first taught proper folding techniques to provide the best possible results. Next, we had the resources of a tablet or a book for origami patterns and had great assistance along the way by the two instructors. We were able to produce many small and easy projects in the allotted time and gained confidence in our ability to progress as we practice more in future. I definitely recommend this experience and it is great fun for all ages!

My daughter specifically requested an origami class so I went with her! It's our first time in Japan and I was so glad I could provide her an authentic Japanese experience that could become a hobby for her! There were only 2 of us in the class, and the teachers were very attentive! My daughter loved it! My only regret was that I didn't carry cash with me, so I couldn't offer a tip (sorry!), so a tip to future classes, please bring money for tip! They also sell lots of origami merchandise, and the workers are very pleasant and nice! They also offered to take our photos!

Spent a very pleasant hour learning the basics of origami, Japanese paper folding. Very relaxing with very good instructions and help from David.

This was a really fun activity. Taro’s Origami studio is small and quaint, with many origami artworks displayed. The instructors were very kind and friendly. Making the origami characters was a calming activity and then coloring and decorating them was a great reminder of being a child. No worries, just fun activities. The studio sold a collection of origami jewelry. I bought two sets of earrings. Yay.
