What we loved most about this experience was the variety of activities included in one full day. We had an exciting dolphin experience in Kizimkazi, visited the beautiful Salaam Cave, and then explored the natural surroundings of Jozani Forest. Seeing the Red Colobus monkeys in their natural environment was a wonderful experience. The guide was helpful and explained the different places and wildlife along the way. Everything felt well organized, and the combination of ocean activities and nature made this a very enjoyable Zanzibar adventure.

We really enjoyed this full-day Zanzibar experience and were impressed by how much we could see in one day. From the dolphins in Kizimkazi to the turtles at Salaam Cave and the beautiful Jozani Forest, every part of the trip had something different to offer. The wildlife experience was especially enjoyable, and we loved learning more about Zanzibar’s natural environment. Our guide was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, which made the entire journey comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely a memorable part of our Zanzibar visit.

The dolphin tour was exciting, while Salaam Cave offered a completely different and peaceful experience. Jozani Forest was also a highlight, especially seeing the monkeys and learning about the surrounding environment. Everything was organized smoothly, and our guide was very kind and informative. It was a great combination of ocean, wildlife, nature, and adventure, making the day enjoyable from beginning to end.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences of our Zanzibar trip. We started the day with the dolphin experience in Kizimkazi, which was exciting and beautifully organized. Visiting Salaam Cave was another memorable part of the day, especially seeing the turtles up close. Later, we explored Jozani Forest and enjoyed learning about the local wildlife and seeing the Red Colobus monkeys. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the experience. The whole day was well planned and gave us the opportunity to experience several different sides of Zanzibar in one trip.

We started the day early to arrive by 7am with 2 guides who spoke ZERO English. Asking them how much farther only led to them staring at us. The term boat is lightly used here considering it was a dingy with hard wood seats. Absolutely zero snorkel equipment and the life vests didn’t close or zip. We were never offered a chance to swim with dolphins though we would have skipped the water was too bad. We were never offered any water at all throughout the day. The highlight was Salaam Cave with the turtles. Highly recommend that part. Again no water was offered after this part. We did pick up a 3rd guide who was taking to the monkey forest. We were done at this point knowing we had a 2 hour ride back to the resort and still had no water at all. We were over this tour by then. I’ve used Viator many times and this is the absolute worst experience we’ve ever had. Do not use Riser Tours for this excursion find someone else.

Throughout the day, our guide made sure we understood what was going on and was kind and helpful. The tour was well-planned, and the mix of wildlife, environment, and ocean activities provided for a fun and interesting day. Couples, families, or friends who wish to experience more of Zanzibar outside of the beaches should definitely check it out.
