TripAdvisor somehow let me book a single rider option when the Jumbo Taxis are usually meant for groups. It took both me and Ko by surprise, but he honored the service purchased and showed up. This was my first time in Jeju so I was still thinking this meant I could tour as part of a group, but it’s for individualized group bookings and I ended up being the only traveler with him. Ko was exceptional at showing me around the city and since this became a solo tour experience, we were able to speed through some stops that I was not really be interested in and spend longer at other stops that I was interested in. Ko also recommended a great local lunch spot based on what I wanted to eat (the restaurant hospitality itself was also top notch and we also got a free service entree). He also went above and beyond with helping take self photos as the photographer at each stop. Honestly the hospitality is on another level compared to other tours so I definitely recommend Ko’s Jeju Jumbo Taxi tour experience.

We had a great experience on this Jeju Island private day tour (west and south), especially considering we were visiting on a cruise stop. The itinerary was well organized, and we were able to see a good variety of scenic spots across the island without feeling rushed. Our guide was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely made an effort to make the day enjoyable for us. Although he spoke basic English, it honestly didn’t take away from the experience. Communication was simple but effective, and his positive attitude made a big difference throughout the day. One thing we truly appreciated was how he went above and beyond to take beautiful photos for us at every stop. Those moments really added value to the tour and made it even more memorable. Overall, if you’re looking for a smooth, friendly, and well-paced private tour in Jeju—especially coming from a cruise—this is a great option. Just keep in mind the English level is basic, but the service and effort more than make up for it.

We are a group of 7. Cost per day for such tour is on the higher side as compare to other Asean countries but this is Jeju's rate. Admission fees are generally reasonable. Weather in early March is pretty cold and windy. However, sceneries are beautiful and nice weather to walk when there is no strong wind.

We have engaged Mr Ko on a 3 day Jeju tour. He is a very experienced tour leader who will recommend the places for us to have our meals. He is also very good at his photography and helped our group to take a lot of nice photos. He takes good care of the group and I would strongly recommend him yo those who intend to visit Jeju.

So frustrated and disappointed. We booked and paid for the private day tour to the West and South part of Jeju Island by Jeju island jumbo taxi tour but they did not show up on the appointed time. We were not even contacted whether they are running late or not coming at all for what reason. We only have 3 days in Jeju and one day has been wasted. I hope that we will be refunded soon.

Making memories w my daughter is very important. We have been planning on visiting Korea for almost a year. We decided to go to Jeju Island. While doing a search for tour guides, I came across Mr. Ko and read his reviews and took a chance. I’m so glad we did. Mr. Ko was very knowledgeable of the places we went to. He was very polite, charming, kind and easy tot all to. He was very attentive and if he didn’t know how to say things in English he would use the translator. He was flexible, energetic and took the time to walk w us during our tour. If we ever come back we will definitely use him again. I will also be recommending him to family and friends.
