Great discovery of life in a "city" in Singapore with Holden. He answered all our questions and helped us with our trip. We discovered typical and delicious dishes and desserts. We were also touched by the fact that Holden welcomed us into his own building. He is a passionate guide and a great traveler. We say A BIG THANK YOU to him.

This was a great combined "off the beaten path"/food/culture tour. Our guide, Holden was friendly, knew everything about Singapore and was easy to talk to. By the way, the local's apartment that you visit is his parents' place. Don't be shy as they are very hospitable and easygoing.
So glad you enjoyed this truly local experience and saw a different side of Singapore apart from the usual touristy places!
This was a fun visit of this lovely town. Holden, our tour guide, is very thoughtful. He makes you feel comfortable and he is a wealth of information about how people live from food to recreation. He took us to a beautiful park in the neighborhood. We walked all over the market sampling typical local Singapore food. He explained to us what each good was made of. Visiting his flat was very homy and a great way to conclude our visit. I highly recommend this tour.
