We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Suzhou. Our tour guide, Michelle, was very knowledgeable, patient, and customized the tour stops according to our interests and requests. Our tour date was on a busy holiday. Traffic was heavy and sites were crowded, but Michelle and our driver expertly managed the day. We really appreciated the hotel pick-up and dropoff. I would highly recommend this tour!

Michelle was a fantastic guide. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of energy and passion for the gardens in Suzhou and the city's history. She has a real eye for photo composition and took us to a lunch restaurant with stunning views of the canals. She also helped us see some old town sights when we still had additional time before our return train to Shanghai.

Linda was an absolute pleasure to meet and listen to. She is a proud and passionate ambassador for not just her enchanting region of Suzhou but for the incredible diversity of China. We will be back and we definitely want Linda as our guide again. We learnt so many wonderful things about Suzhou culture, people and history.

Suzhou Private Flexible City Tour with Lunch Option I am glad that I booked Suzhou Private Flexible City Tour with Lunch Option tour for my family of 3. Our day of Suzhou was packed with actions, information and lots of fun. The lunch place on Pingjiang , a historical street was clean, charming and cozy , the food was delicious. Our tour guide, Michelle, spoke excellent English with deep knowledge in Chinese history, culture, local legends and fairytales. Our driver was so accommodating with our schedules. The weather was not perfect, intermittent light rains and windy, but Michelle was managed to find perfect spots based on the weather conditions. Both my children are young adults, they truly enjoyed the tour . I don’t think I could make this 8- hour memorable trip for my family without the tour. One regret was that we didn’t tour the Suzhou Museum , I didn’t realize that it requires a reservation much in advance in order to secure admission tickets. Instead, we had a brief tour at one of local silk makings, with beautiful varieties of silk merchant products. Needless to say, we got our shoppings done as well.

Michelle was punctual and friendly and speaks excellent English. Because of her, we were able to see everything we wanted to see and gain invaluable insight into them. She was full of energy and took so many photos of us 😉 I regret not taking one of her too! She arranged tickets, lunch and the car smoothly and efficiently so that we hardly had to wait. Given our limited time in Suzhou, this was greatly appreciated! I recommend her full heartedly!

Michelle was our tour guide for our family of 3. She is knowledgable, flexible, and introduced the sites with knowledge but gave us plenty of space and time to enjoy the different sites.

Michelle was an incredible tour guide. From start to finish we loved the explanation, the incredible attention and enthusiasm that Michelle showed. The only detail was that we couldn’t go visit the Suzhou Museum which was included in the itinerary (the tour company mentions it’s flexible but they were not specific mentioning that you gotta ask them to actually include it on the itinerary) cuz you have to book the tickets 1 week in advance. Other than that it truly deserves a 5 stars review

The tour was well organized and enjoyable. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we got to see many beautiful places. Definitely worth it!

I did the tour with Lily and really enjoyed the experience. She picked us on time and was flexible with our preferences. She was also very fluent in English, I highly recommend her!

We enjoyed the trip so much with such detailed explanation by Ms Shirley. She is a very nice lady and answered most of our doubts and questions.
