The guide was very easy to understand. It wasn't a theatrical act as such which i loved, if you met him alone in the close you 100% would think he belonged there. Loved his attire, stories, string voice, good looks. Everything that would get you into trouble back then haha. Anyway most mysterious, hottest dead person I've ever met!
Mary Queen of Scots was a delightful tour guide, funny and very knowledgeable! Well worth the hour +

Agnes was great. We had a big group and she took the time to speak to everyone and find out where they were from. She was engaging and informative. She seemed honestly interested in the history she was telling us and I think that makes a big difference. She wasn’t just reading a script, but wanted the stories to matter. Excellent job!
We went on the 6.15pm tour on 26/09/26 and our guide Dr Knox (aka David) was wonderfully weird and totally brilliant and made the tour fabulous 😃
Really enjoyed this experience!!! Mary Stuart really made this tour - she made it very immersive… very knowledgable. Would highly recommend and it was the highlight of my weekend!
Our guide spoke so fast and most of us couldn’t understand her and what she was saying about the tour- she seemed scattered and most of the group stood looking at each other confused. It was mainly walking the strret at night and an underground cavern that had paranormal activity in the past.
Our tour guide, Agnes, was excellent. Friendly, answered questions, and she was a good storyteller. A lot of historical information of the past history of Edinburgh.
The tour was a fun way to learn about the darker side of Edinburgh. John was our guide and he was amazing!
Our tour guide, Mary Queen of Scots was great! Very knowledgeable about Edinburgh history. Also, funny and creepy at once; great costume and theatrics! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and slightly scary evening.
